My father was not an easy or willing patient and he resented losing his independence and having to be cared for. Deborah and Mavis from Ashbright Carers could not have been more loving and caring towards my father and they made the final year and a half of his life as comfortable and bearable as was humanly possible. Ashbright Agency is without question an outstanding company offering excellent support within the home. We have been using Ashbright since February 2024 when my father (94 years) fell and broke his hip. They were originally recommended to us by the hospital. My mother (90) found it difficult to manage supporting Dad, as he also has late stage dementia. They both live at home in a retirement flat. The flexibility Ashbright offered was fantastic. They are so experienced and professional, we often turn to them for advice and guidance. The team works brilliantly together, offering flexible wrap around care to suit the different situations we have found ourselves in throughout this time. We have sometimes opted for live in care, during hospital visits or holiday respite breaks, At the moment have two carers three times a day to help with Dad's personal care and day to day comfort. Their care is without fail absolutely wonderful, The team have become family to us, we couldn't be happier.
Most of the team chat with her whilst giving her care but one or two are not so engaging and can rush the sessions.
My mother, me and my brother are very happy with the Ashbright team and the service they give.
