My husband has received personal care from GoodOaks for three months now. We see a small team of four or five carers who between them cover the various duties twice a day. They are all well-trained and professional. They treat my husband with respect and communicate with him in a friendly and warm manner. I find them very helpful. We have had dealings with carers before and we have found that the GoodOaks carers have been the best. We put it down to good training and efficient communication between the staff and management.

My wife has been receiving personal care from Goodoaks for the past nine months. The support during this time has been totally reliable and of a very high standard. The support required was agreed upon and carefully documented initially and reviewed throughout the time as needs changed. The carers have all worked with competence, understanding, respect and good humour. My wife has benefitted significantly from their personal care and other support.
Communication with the management has been excellent; they have kept in close touch and I have always been able to contact them when necessary. The company policy regarding training and monitoring of the carers is effective. Communication between carers through notes recorded at each visit is good and has ensured well-informed continuity of care. Carers always arrive fully briefed on current issues or progress. Overall our experience with Goodoaks has been very positive.

On discharge from hospital, I was told by Social Services that I had to provide my own care package and that they would not help me in this project even though I had no previous experience. I looked online for providers and GoodOaks with their pricing and sensible time slots, seemed worth further investigation. From the outset they were extremely helpful and flexible. With their guidance I was able to set up a programme of visits that met our needs and it could be changed as my health improved. The staff are knowledgeable, punctual, friendly and willing to assist in any way that they could. This also helped ease the stress that my wife was under following my long illness. I highly recommend GoodOaks.

From the very beginning, the team were incredibly helpful, helping us to navigate this difficult situation which is completely new to us. They made us feel at ease and provided us with lots of guidance from the beginning. We are really pleased with the carer provided, who gets on well with and listens to the needs of my dad, offering a regular friendly face, as well as someone we trust to handle his growing requirements. When there were aspects of the programme that needed to be fine-tuned, these happened quickly and we've welcomed the personal touch that the team have offered, which ensures we know they are there every step of the way with us.

An excellent experience, from the initial liaison with the manager (who couldn't have been more empathetic, particularly in the way she communicated with our dad), to the outstanding quality of our respite carer. The training at GoodOaks is clearly to a very high standard, and given the chance, we will definitely be taking them on again.

The carer you have found for my mother is wonderful. She carries out the core caring role very professionally, but also is nice person, gets along well with my mother and has a good sense of humour.

Our overall experience has been very good indeed. The carers we have had have been excellent timekeepers (we have been kept informed by text message on the odd occasion buses have been irregular). The shower experience has been good for my husband and he has adapted to it well. The carers have been solicitous towards my husband and have both taken pains to engage him in conversation. Medication given through my husband's PEG has been administered carefully and correctly.

The live-in carer provided for our mother was kind, knowledgeable, unflappable, patient and practical. Our mother was sorry to say goodbye to her when she moved into a nursing home and insisted on having a photo taken of the two of them together as a memento! The GoodOaks management team were friendly, efficient, informative, quick to deal with our queries and very helpful. We were very happy with the service we received at what was a difficult time for the family.

My wife received excellent home care from GoodOaks Home Care - Wimbledon for about five weeks. The carers were cheerful, prompt and provided a high level of care. The management was good with almost everything proceeding as agreed and clear communications to rapidly sort out any very slight problems. GoodOaks Wimbledon was about average price. My wife and I would recommend this company and definitely use them again if required. Thanks all at GoodOaks!

My totally independent 96-year-old father had a mishap and hurt his back. It was so painful that, initially, he needed help getting in and out of bed or a chair, turning in bed etc. This meant 24-hour care. After 6 days, I was exhausted. The timescales of most care agencies meant we would get him into residential respite care before they could get a carer in place. Not so for GoodOaks Wimbledon & Kingston! A leaflet came in the door on Saturday afternoon. I rang on the off chance someone might be in the office. I didn't leave a voicemail. Within a couple of minutes, someone had called me back. They said they would phone on Monday which they did. They came to do the assessment on Tuesday and had already lined up a carer for Wednesday night. Their carer was super flexible and did a couple of nights then switched to days, after appropriate rest, when another night carer was in place. The carers were lovely, even doing the laundry and making up their bed before leaving. Thank you GoodOaks!

The owner, manager and the team went out of their way to accommodate our circumstances. They were able to get a carer going in to see Dad in really good order which alone was impressive. Their team was able to provide my dad with supplemental care and physical and unquantifiable but absolutely game-changing social stimulation and TLC. Even the hospital team that they were coordinating with on Dad's care was really just so grateful and impressed with their attentiveness and contribution to his care. I was so impressed personally with their communicativeness, which meant so much because it really kept us up to date with how Dad was doing and gave us peace of mind. I honestly couldn't have asked for more, and in all honesty, they did more than was asked of them. I would absolutely recommend them and would use them again if the need arises.

The carers come in the morning and they are on time and nothing is too much effort for them. They spend time talking to Mum and making her feel safe and comfortable.
I thought Mum would struggle with strangers coming to the house but she has really taken to the carers and looks forward to them coming every morning.
The team at Good Oaks really do put the client first and are very helpful if changes are needed.
I have no hesitation in recommending Good Oaks.

We are very pleased with Good Oaks. The carers are great and the service is very flexible to your needs. We have carers twice a day and three times a day if we are away. They are very good carers and work to a very high standard. They chat with my mum and she looks forward to them coming in. They are always on time and call if they are running more than 10 minutes late on a very odd occasion. We highly recommend Good Oaks Home Care.

Good Oaks is a smaller company and as a customer, I really feel the more personal touch for this type of business is better. (We were let down by one of the more "established" companies).
