Mum has been with my homecare since May last year and all her carers look after her as though she is a family member, they show so much love and make sure she is happy and comfortable at all visits. Mum looks forward to them coming they bring so much laughter to her life and at 99 it's such a tonic
for her. I can't thank them enough for all that they do. I know mum is in good caring hands always.

My brother has carers four times a day, double staff visits as he is bed bound for the last year. The Homecare team on days is mainly regular staff with some new staff training now and then too and they see to all his needs, they are friendly and help him chat as he doesn’t since his strokes and they
do a great job. The tea and bedtime staff are the same all the time except for their days off, are exceptional with him have a great bond with him and always go above and beyond they are a great team. Another lady does waking nights with him has built a really good bond with him and always goes the extra mile too. Having the home care team for the past year has made a big difference and relieved a lot of stress for me. Big thank you to you all.

Although My Homecare has been recently assisting with Mum's care needs, their service has been brilliant. On the initial home visit, the senior carers explained everything in great detail, going through what Mum's requirements were and what help they could provide. They were very professional and friendly
and got mum's sense of humour immediately. The care staff have a good rapport with mum and look after her very well. Their service gives me peace of mind and confidence to know that she is being well looked after throughout the day. If I have a query the staff have a very warm and friendly approach and what is a new experience to us, as a family, puts our minds at ease.

It's twelve months now since we changed service providers and went to My Homecare and the change has been massive. I won't say we haven't had any issues, but when we have they have been resolved and the staff have been really good overall. But for the odd issue, I would have given it five stars. Not
only have the team helped mum who is the service user, but me too. I am the main carer and they went out of their way to have my help increased after I broke my wrist recently. The carers are very friendly and mum is happy which is the main thing for me.

The management and all the staff at My Homecare Warrington & Salford are brilliant, can't praise them enough - so willing to do anything to help, they are amazing with my husband whose behaviour due to his condition can be challenging and offering emotional support and hugs to me too. Always asking
if I need help with anything, I couldn't manage without them. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

Finding a care package for my aunt seemed a daunting task until I contacted the manager and her team. After our first meeting, we felt listened to and confident about it all. Their communication is exemplary. All the staff are committed, they give her the best care, ensuring her comfort and well-being
is paramount. They are all competent, skilled, understanding, patient and very kind. They go above and beyond. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending to anyone who is considering home care. They are an excellent company to work with and the staff are lovely.

My parents are elderly and unfortunately have found it increasingly difficult to do all that they would like to. After receiving a recommendation to make use of carers we reached out and received a phone call from a member of the management team.
She discussed my parent's individual situations and
requirements and then made an appointment to visit to discuss all matters further. She was very professional and showed a good knowledge of the system in place and all that could be offered. The decision was made to start by having 2 visits a week each for 2 hours for cleaning, general housekeeping and laundry including ironing. As time goes by and more assistance is required, due to being on the books/in the system it was explained that it would be very easy to increase visits.
The carers that have visited have shown good punctuality, a very friendly and approachable manner and have completed all required to a high standard, with my parents both being happy with the service provided.

Staff vary from good to excellent which is reflected in my rating. Management is good, however, obviously struggles with weekend availability of staff resulting in less familiar carers turning up. The Monday to Friday service has been almost excellent. Punctuality is good and better than I have experienced
with other organisations.

Detailed Breakdown of Review Score

The maximum Review Score for a Home Care Provider is 10, which is made up from the Average Rating of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) and the Number of Reviews (maximum of 5 points) in the last 24 months:

  1. 5 Points are available for the Average Rating from all Reviews in the last 24 months. The Average Rating of 4.724 for My Homecare Warrington & Salford is calculated as follows: ( (45 Excellents x 5) + (11 Goods x 4) + (1 Satisfactorys x 3) + (1 Poors x 2) ) ÷ 58 Ratings = 4.724
