Please avoid using this Safe Care Services unless you live close to the office.
The staff were lazy with our care package, they refused to listen to the client's request to speak English only in her own home. The staff struggle to understand client's basic requests for basic foods to be cooked. They
would try to feed the client either food that was overcooked and inedible, or food that was still frozen in the middle.
They would use the client's body to move her rather than an in-situ sling.
The staff would much rather be on their phones than interaction with the client.
I would avoid using Safe Care as a 24 hour care provider, but they may be better as a domiciliary provider.

We are genuinely sorry to hear of your reported dissatisfaction, especially given the positive relationship and feedback we have received over the two years of providing care services to the client.
We acknowledge that in the final stages of our service to the client we were marked by a series of challenges, including two specific complaints. These complaints were thoroughly investigated by our managing service provider, who found them to be unfounded. These findings underscore our dedication to truth, transparency, and integrity in all our dealings. Despite these challenges, we remain focused on learning from every situation to enhance our services.
Regarding the specific issues you mentioned, we want to assure you that our team is trained to respect the preferences and needs of our clients, including language preferences and the preparation of meals according to their tastes and dietary requirements. The well-being and comfort of our clients are our top priorities, and we are committed to upholding these principles in every aspect of our care.
In reflecting upon the feedback provided by our caregivers, we've gained valuable insights into their experiences with the client and the dynamics within her family setting. Both caregivers spoke of their respect and admiration for the client, highlighting her warmth and resilience. However, they also shared the challenges they faced, including navigating complex family dynamics and instances of discomfort arising from interactions with certain family members. These experiences, though difficult, are taken seriously and have informed our ongoing efforts to ensure a supportive, respectful environment for both our clients and our staff.
It's also important to address the difficult circumstances that arose, including the maltreatment of our staff. We take these matters with the highest level of seriousness and are committed to ensuring a safe, respectful, and fair environment for both our clients and our staff. We believe in resolving disputes through open, honest communication and are keen on finding a fair and just resolution for all parties involved.
From the professional viewpoint Safe Care Services is proud to have been rated 'Good' by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) across all five key areas: safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led. Given the sensitive nature of these concerns, we urge a direct dialogue to better understand and address your feedback comprehensively. Please contact us at contact@safecareservices.net, where our management team is ready to listen and work towards a resolution that respects the interests and dignity of everyone involved.
We are unwavering in our commitment to continuous improvement and to providing care that upholds the dignity, preferences, and rights of our clients. Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
