Overall Experience

From the time that I first contacted Radfield Home Care I was listened to and the care needed was put in place very quickly. The manager was very thorough in finding out what was needed and very professional in her approach. Nothing was too much trouble and she found the most suitable of carers to look after my friend. The care worker, who did most of the support during the period, was excellent. She bonded extremely well with my friend and kept her engaged and interested during her visits and had a lovely manner with my friend.

Overall Experience

All of my mother’s carers have been very friendly, caring, and respectful. They help her to maintain her dignity as much as possible and they are responsive to changing tasks. Any calls to the office have been dealt with efficiently and in a friendly manner. They care that the service they provide is doing the best for their clients. I have mostly dealt with the care manager, who has been wonderful. It is a great local service.

Overall Experience

We have been very pleased with the care given to our mother, especially during the sudden transition from living independently to needing assistance. The staff have all been very kind and sensitive to her needs, and have helped make a difficult situation much easier to adjust to and accept for all concerned. It was also reassuring to know that thought was given by management to the care providers assigned to Mum after taking the time to discuss her situation with the family.

Radfield Home Care have been super when Mum's medication changed, they are excellent at keeping me aware of any changes.

Mum's district nurse has mentioned how impressed she is with her care provider.

Very pleased with the care you provide for my father. All the staff that deal with my fathers care are friendly and he feels comfortable in their presence. If I have to contact the office to add any daily tasks for my father they are actioned the next day.

Overall Experience
Mum has Alzheimer’s, but has been very well, able to cook, take her meds without prompting.
She suddenly because more anxious, stopped taking her medication and said she did not like her choice of food in the flat.
I contacted the Camberley team who were able to support Mum immediately.
From their first visit, Mum enjoyed their company and chats whilst they supported her with meal preparation, medication and putting her hearing aids in (lack of hearing had made her feel more isolated).
The change in my mum was amazing - she was looking better eating regularly, was more hydrated and engaging with people daily. The team are very attentive to changes in support required. The app is amazing as not only can you see Mum’s carer's input but you can use it as a prompt in conversation.

As a GP, I value the role that carers have in supporting people in their own homes - they are often unsung heroes. Mum’s team are allowing her to live her best life in her own home.

Overall Experience

Very efficient, caring, reliable, and professional team. Pleased they were recommended to me for my mother's care following discharge from hospital. Management are also accommodating, moving times of visits to allow for appointments, and also very caring. As a qualified nurse, I have very high expectations and these have been met!

I have found the care received to be very professional throughout, from the management, the administration and to the hands-on care given.

Any questions I have are always dealt with quickly by the manager or admin team. The carers are diligent, and I feel safe in the knowledge my loved one is being looked after.

I cannot fault the support that has been provided to our daughter over the past ten months. This past month has been difficult for our daughter. However, the care manager and her team have been excellent and have gone that extra mile, providing support not just to our daughter, but also to myself and my wife while we have been on holiday. The constant reassurance that you are there is helping us through this difficult period. We cannot thank you enough.

My mother had to switch care companies very suddenly, and Radfield Home Care stepped in at no notice, but with great attention to the needs of my mother. I have had worrying moments with my mother's decline in health, and have been so heartened and reassured by the care provided and ready availability of a friendly helpful voice on the end of a phone at all times. Also we have had an unexpected crisis, and a member of staff went way beyond the call of duty, dropping everything to help out in a very practical and professional way.

This is my second experience of home care. The first ended after a couple of days when I was readmitted to hospital. I did not really know what to expect when I came out of hospital again.
Radfield was chosen through selection together with my son. It turned out to be a good choice.
What little experience I had from which to make a comparison, was sufficient to indicate a sound choice.

From the first day, I have received nothing but excellent service and support. The staff has been clearly well trained and experienced, making each visit a cheerful occasion, during which my problems were addressed in a truly professional manner. I am not yet fully recovered but progress has been made in that direction. I am confident that there will be a good outcome and I am very grateful to Radfield for that.

We have used Radfield since June 2022, they have been accommodating, reassuring and helpful from the start. The team are knowledgeable and always accessible to mum, the family, and the carers, and diligently help with all enquiries. Would recommend them to anyone looking to set up care and support.

I am extremely impressed and pleased with all of the carers involved with looking after my mother. They are all very helpful and polite and since my mother's fall several weeks ago have played a big part in her recovery which is going very well. I would happily recommend Radfield Care.

Radfield Home Care stepped in very quickly and supported my 91-year-old mother when she reached a crisis in May. I needed urgent support to ensure that she stayed in her own home. The team at Radfield Home Care have proved flexible, caring and supportive throughout the whole process. And we have finally received funding from the local authority which will alleviate a massive burden both financially and emotionally. The manager must get a special shout out as she has been a complete star. Nothing has been too much effort. And she uses her skills and knowledge to support Mum in such a positive way that her mental and physical health have improved substantially.

Richard Gordon

Richard, owner and director of Radfield Home Care Camberley, Farnborough & Fleet has a wealth of experience and knowledge of the health and social care sector.

As a qualified care manager with experience in successfully running large-scale care operations, Richard has qualifications in both management and leadership in health and social care.

Richard explains, “I spent 10 years of my career prior to moving into social care managing businesses within the recruitment industry, however, I always knew that I wanted to move into a more service-driven sector and role, where my input would have a positive impact directly on people’s lives. My initial role in the care sector was as a registered branch manager of a home care service - a ‘hands-on’ role, making a positive difference to individuals every day.”

Richard was subsequently promoted to an area manager role, spending most of his day on the road and soon realised that the role was too far removed from the service itself, and took the decision to return to the service delivery that he’d loved from the start.

Richard adds, “As a registered care manager, I developed a true passion to want to open my own home care business in my local community - providing high-quality person-centred care and support services and offering exceptional employment and career opportunities.”

Claire Kane

We would like to introduce you to Claire, Operations Manager for Radfield Home Care Camberley, Farnborough & Fleet. Claire is responsible for the day-to-day running of the office in line with CQC regulations and also for ensuring that the service is safe, caring, responsive, effective and well-led. Claire is the key point of contact for carers, clients and their families and promotes individuals’ wellbeing at all times.

Claire has a wealth of experience working in care, having spent the last 10 years working within the Health and Social Care sector. Her career has been focused specifically around domiciliary care, where she spent time as a Care Professional, Field Care Supervisor, Care Coordinator and Deputy Manager. This breadth of experience has given Claire a clear understanding of the challenges facing the industry.

Claire tells us:

“I bring over a decade of knowledge and experience in home care. My role and experience will benefit the clients at Radfield because I will ensure that all clients are receiving a service of the utmost quality. With my experience, I have come to understand the balance between what works best in practice and remaining open to new innovative ways of working.”

Claire is a natural when it comes to care, she loves spending time with people and building lasting relationships with clients. She goes on to say:

“I have always been drawn to the sector through a passion for achieving goals that improve service and ultimately the quality of people’s life.”

Claire is currently studying towards achieving her level 5 in leadership & management for care services, which will continue to bolster her offering as a care manager and her ability to lead an effective team of Care Professionals and office staff.
