My elderly cousins have been looked after by an angel in disguise called Mandeep (Mandy). This lady is exceptional. She is kind, patient and friendly at all times. My cousins have never been happier and I pray that she does not leave. She is intelligent and has wonderful conversations with Dave, reading to him and keeping his mind off his pain. She has never ending patience with Liz, who unfortunately does not recognise many people any more, but she loves Mandy. Her presence has made life so much easier. As I live far away, I can have peace of mind that she is always there and always looking after them as part of the family.

She carried out her work in caring for two old people both in their 90s very well from more then eight months it never easy i am blind person and my wife as a lower level Alzheimer disease mandy copes extremely well she does this while doing all the household chores efficiently and with good grace. She also is a Companion with a good sense of humour. We can not fault her as a long term live in carer and hope we do not lose her to another person.

It was a struggle to explain and guide them to identify food items, how appliances worked and soon the hour was over, a great deal of effort had been expended without much food and water coming my way. It was all about the money, sticking to contract rather than providing suitable and appropriate care.

Our Visiting Angel (VA) comes to take my mother out for a couple of hours on a regular basis. This gives us full time carers at home some respite and it is a wonderful opportunity for mum to socialise. Mum gets on really well with our VA he is punctual, friendly, good fun, unfailingly considerate and kindhearted. He is always thinking of different places to take Mum and she feels safe and cared for at all times. The overall service has been impressive and we know we can rely on Visiting Angels which is extremely reassuring. I would like to add the communication with the team has been excellent.

Just wanted to leave a review for the compassionate, loving and dedicated carers team at Visiting Angels namely, one staff member in particular being the main carer and 2 other staff members. Our dad was a 94 year old dementia patient and sadly, recently passed away. We as a family, wanted to Thank them all for the great love, care and understanding they showed our dad whilst caring for him. The main carer for dad, had a wonderful, compassionate personality and a lot of passion and dedication for his job. He always arrived with a big smile and a hearty laughter.
They were all, always very respectful, calm and patient with a lot of empathy and understanding and being a dementia patient, this would put dad at ease straight away. The qualities required to be excellent carers came through naturally in the team and we couldn't have asked for more caring, compassionate and loving people to be caring for our dad. It has all been very much appreciated by the family!!

As Registered Manager at Visiting Angels South Middlesex, I am passionate about delivering outstanding care and supporting the people who make that possible every day. We are a family-run organisation, and that ethos runs through everything we do — we treat our clients, carers, and colleagues like part of our extended family, with care, respect, and genuine connection at the heart of our service. That sense of family is also reflected within our team, where we are proud to have siblings working within the organisation, as well as a father and daughter contributing in different roles — one as a carer and the other in a management position.
My care career began in New Zealand, where I gained hands-on experience in live-in care, supporting people to remain independent and safe in their own homes. Before moving into the care sector, I worked in the charity sector, which helped shape my values around compassion, dignity, and community support.
After returning to the UK, I joined Visiting Angels South Middlesex in a Business Development role, working closely with families and professionals to ensure people could access high-quality home care. As the organisation grew, I transitioned into the role of Registered Manager, where I now focus on day-to-day operations, supporting our team and ensuring the delivery of safe, person-centred care.
It is both a privilege and an honour that our clients and their families place their trust in us to support their loved ones in the place they feel most comfortable — their own home. We are committed to building strong, trusting relationships and ensuring every person receives compassionate, high-quality care that enables them to live as independently and safely as possible.

My passion for caring for the elderly started way back when I was 14. I had volunteered at a local nursing home playing the clarinet to the elderly every Sunday. From then, I always had it in my mind that one day I would run a home care service of some kind. Years went by and naturally, my career digressed and spanned from working within different industries such as finance, retail and more recently in aviation for a global airline. Whilst I have worked in these industries, the thought never left my mind to go back to care.
Today, I am proud to be running the new South Middlesex branch for Visiting Angels and giving back to my community. With the help of my great carers, we are providing and looking after the elderly and giving them something to look forward to every day.
My late grandmother always said I was destined to work in care and I am so happy I can fulfil this with the help of my supportive team with me.

My background has primarily been working in hospital care as a radiographer within radiation oncology.
My extensive experience ranges from clinical, educational and management roles both abroad (Middle East) and within the NHS. The majority of my time was mainly in the West London / South Middlesex area.
Because of this, I have been only too aware of the importance of good quality home care and support in both my professional and family life.
Visiting Angels give me and my family the opportunity to support caregivers by providing them with better pay and conditions, industry-leading training and education. This will enable them to give consistently higher standards of in-home quality care to our local community
