As friends and with comments from the lady receiving care we are pleased with the care provided by Radfield Homecare York. The staff are always pleasant and responsive to needs. Communication from the service is also efficient and it is easy to discuss any requests.

Overall Experience

We have recently signed on with Radfield Home Care for care for my 91-year-old mother. Whilst we were initially nervous about strangers in the house, we have been delighted by the quality of care provided. The majority of the carers have been superb and my mum has enjoyed having a little bit of company every day. My husband and I feel she is in safe hands.

Very grateful to the whole team who organised and provided care for my parents. Visits were reliable and timely. All the carers were kind and polite and established a good relationship. I would not hesitate in recommending. Thank you.

Overall Experience

I'm very pleased with the care Mum gets from the Radfield carers. The ones I've met have been lovely and are always polite and friendly. Any queries to the office are dealt with quickly and I'm never made to feel a nuisance even though I've had to change things at short notice a number of times. I would recommend them to anybody looking for reliable and helpful care.

Overall Experience
Following on from being involved in a serious car accident both myself and my mum have needed support from carers to help with daily living activities.
We have found that every carer who visits us are kind, helpful, and caring.
They are always willing to help in any way they can and nothing is too much trouble for them.

I would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a carer.

Overall Experience

Excellent service from Radfelds. Have had to make changes on a practically daily basis due to hospital appointments and they have always managed to sort something out. The carers have been helpful and usually willing to do other housekeeping tasks if there is time. A very good service provided with a smile.

Overall Experience

I have been very impressed by the Radfield experience and am grateful for such dependable support at a time of change and vulnerability. The carers are friendly, positive, cooperative and quickly adaptable to new situations and are skilled at making the best use of their time. I also like the blend of experience that carers have shown and am impressed by students who choose to use practical placements related to their studies and potential careers.

Overall Experience

Overall it has been a positive experience using Radfield. Mum seems happy with the carers and the overall care. The carers arrive on time and leave detailed feedback each visit so that I am fully aware of what has happened each visit. I have not met many members of staff but have found the ones I have met to be very pleasant.

Overall Experience
Radfield stepped in to look after Mum in June at short notice. The team have been excellent ever since our first meeting. They quickly put a care package in place after assessing Mum's needs.
It runs like clockwork, very efficient. The carers look after Mum in a kind and caring manner, taking time to ask how she is and engaging in her hobbies.
It's a relief to know that Mum is in safe hands. Everything is always left clean and tidy, bins are out etc. They just seem to know instinctively what to do and when.
The online portal is great as we can see from every visit how Mum is doing and the office soon call if they think there is something we should know.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Radfield to any prospective client.

After being let down by a previous care company I was recommended Radfield Home Care by a friend. I only had two weeks to find good care for my 91-year-old mum who has always maintained that she would like to be looked after in her own home. I contacted Radfield who made the transition very smooth, they gave me reassurance and confidence. The management could not be faulted. A very caring and understanding company. Excellent management skills. I have a care planning app on my phone and can see every visit and an up-to-date account of how Mum is doing. This is very reassuring. I also receive a rota list in advance, this tells me who the carers are for the week. The staff are always professional, they are very thorough whilst giving Mum care and understanding, she loves all her carers and looks forward to their next visit. Well done to you all at Radfield, I am so pleased for my mum to have the care she really deserves. Thank you.

Overall Experience

My experience of Radfield staff and carers is excellent. They have assisted in my learning to walk again while recovering from a broken hip, they have encouraged me towards leading a life where I can live safely and independently. Wonderful friendly girls!

Overall Experience
Very pleased with all the carers who come to look after my father on a twice-daily basis.
They take time out to sit and chat with Dad, this brings interest into the house for him as he doesn’t get out.

They also do small jobs around the house which helps me as I run a very busy cafe, which means when I come and see Dad, I don’t spend my time working I can spend time with him.

I have found all of the carers to be professional, competent, caring, compassionate and very very pleasant.
Mum loves them all and loves to chat and find out what they have been up to in their time off/holidays. A lot of the new carers are very young but they are lovely to deal with and Mum is quite happy to be in their care.

The management team are very approachable and handles any issues which may arise in a speedy and professional manner, I never have to worry about the response I will receive when I contact them. Having to rely on carers for a loved one is a stressful position to be in, but I can honestly say that Radfield does an excellent job of reducing that.

Radfield Home Care York provides very personal tailored care support for Mum. Continuity of care has been excellent and has enhanced Mum's experience as they are familiar with her routines, preferences and are able to recognise changes in the way she presents which is so important to detecting any health-related concerns. My carers are friendly, fun and helpful. They do things that I ask of them. I like having them in my home. I feel confident and cared for. They find out my interests so we can talk about them. Always have a good visit.

Overall Experience

Very thorough and professional assessment with my mum to put a care plan in place, covering in-depth and complex scenarios, although we were only planning an initial ad hoc companionship visit.The actual visit was then conducted as planned by a professional and friendly carer. Great peace of mind for me and I’m confident Radfield will be able to support us going forward as Mum’s support needs increase.
