Gradually she has let them do more for her which has been a great help to my family knowing first thing in the morning she is being looked after and also communicating with us about any problems.
We are happy to be providing care for your mother and pleased that we are making a difference and giving you peace of mind that your mother is safe.
Great experience with this company. No complaints. Always on the ball with care and updates. Would recommend it to others needing a care company. Happy that we get the same faces we feel comfortable with and knowing our needs.
Thank you for your review. It's been a pleasure looking after your friend and supporting them to feel safe and comfortable at home.
We always know in advance who is coming and the carers are always prompt, caring, respectful and cheerful.
Management has been particularly helpful in liaising with our doctors.
Thank you for your review. We are pleased that we are able to continue to support your husband with all of his care needs, treating him with care and respect. Collaborating with local health professionals is all part of the service.
The friendly staff and professional service give me peace of mind that my parents are receiving the extra support they need. The addition of the app is a helpful way of keeping on top of the visits they’ve received.
Thank you for the review. The carers enjoy going in to see mum and dad.
The only criticism I have is the lack of information from the app which is provided for the career to use.
Thank you for your review of Live in care it is much appreciated, I have raised the issues of the app that you have with the tech team and hopefully, this can be resolved in the near future. Will continue to support your friend with the high standards that we offer.
The company is well-run and very professional. They are happy to contact Mum's doctor, if need be. They will always inform me of this. We are so pleased that we chose Walfinch for Mum. It's such a relief for our family to know mum is well cared for and happy.
Thank you, Kay, for a fabulous review. It has been an absolute pleasure supporting your mother and we all really enjoy going round to see your mum and her dog. Thank you again and hopefully, we can continue to support her in such a positive way and keep up the consistency of the same carers going in to see her.
Extremely good care. Visit 8.45 am-9:15 am every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday. Always cheerful, it brightens my day, chatty and very efficient.
Thank you for such a great review. I know that one carer in particular finds visiting you in the morning a wonderful experience and that she looks forward to the visit on the days she comes to see you.
Since we started using their services, we have never had the need to complain about anything.
Thank you for your kind review. It's lovely to hear that the service we provide you is always up to the standards we would expect. We look forward to the continuation of providing care.
A good reliable service.
Another wonderful weekend of care for our mum by Walfinch. Professional, compassionate and respectful, and always giving the highest standards of care, Mum's carer has quickly become an invaluable help to us all. Mum adores her too, which speaks volumes. We have been so impressed by the whole team at Walfinch and cannot recommend them highly enough.
Thank you for taking the time to give us a review. We are always pleased to hear that your mum is treated with care and dignity by our carer to ensure the best possible outcome for your mum.

Laura is the Managing Director of Walfinch Southampton. Laura gained a name for herself at a young age in the Catering and Hospitality industry, running the kitchens for several top-class establishments before opening her own restaurant. In later years, she moved over to working as a Chef Manager in local care homes. Laura always made sure that she went the extra mile to talk with and establish a personal rapport with the residents.
More recently, she has run the recruitment and administration for another local care company before joining Angela to launch the local Walfinch branch in Southampton.
Laura also engages in caring duties as she likes to be hands-on. This allows her to train new professional care support team members and understand those who are in need of Walfinch's assistance. It is important to remember why we are professional care supports in the first place- the human element is key for Walfinch Southampton.
Angela has worked in the care sector for over 20 years with extensive experience in community and residential/nursing homes. She holds a Level 5 QCF in Leadership & Management, as well as being an End of Life & Dementia Champion. In a recent role, Angela achieved an Outstanding CQC rating in the Caring category and it is this continuing dedication that ensures Angela and her team deliver outstanding individual person-centred care to every single client who needs support in their own home.
Establishing and maintaining trusted relationships allows clients to reach their own level of potential while maintaining independence in the happiness of a familiar and safe setting.
Like Laura Angela is very hands-on and also involved in providing care.
Robin has previously worked with Angela and has a wealth of experience, which is adding great value to our team. He has come into Walfinch with an infectious personality and a ton of Ideas.
"I have worked in the care industry for over 22 years and have a varied background in Brain Injuries, Dementia, Mental Health and Learning disabilities.
I have experience as a Mental Health First Aider supporting colleagues and clients, being able to signpost them to health professionals. I have worked in partnership with many GPs, District Nurses and Client Advocates and lots of community-based projects"
Robin is also one of our trainers in Basic Life Support, Moving & Positioning and Skin Integrity/Pressure sores. He is also hands-on with the support visits when needed. This gives him a greater insight if the client's needs have changed and also whether the professional care support team need extra training.
Robin's other roles are making sure all of the support visits have a professional care support team member allocated to them. As well as bring on new clients, completing their assessments in their own homes.
Selina is a dedicated Field Care Supervisor with over 8 years of experience in the care industry, committed to delivering high-quality, compassionate care to those in need.
