As the Registered Manager, my plan to manage the services is as follows:
I will oversee the location five days a week, from Monday to Friday. In my absence, the nominated individual will be available at the registered location to handle any immediate queries. I will manage the on-call number 24/7, sharing this responsibility with the nominated individual, operations manager, and/or coordinator to ensure service users can contact us anytime.
The recruitment process will only take place when I am present. We will schedule interviews for potential candidates on days when I am on-site alongside other senior staff. Office staff will prepare the rotas for all support workers, but these will only be circulated after my approval and authorization.
To ensure high-quality care, I will personally monitor services by calling service users, their families, or involved professionals, and visiting service users' homes when they’re available. We also plan to implement software to enable quick and secure data sharing between our locations, especially for essential information requested by professionals or on a need-to-know basis.
I am committed to managing the registered service to ensure it remains safe, effective, caring, well-led, and responsive. I will oversee compliance and quality checks. I bring prior experience in the care sector, including managing domiciliary care services, and am currently pursuing the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Health & Social Care. I have also completed mandatory certifications, including Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults Training Level 3, Mental Capacity & DoLS Training, and Complaints Handling Training.
Our dedicated coordination team will ensure the continuity of care remains consistent, with staff visits running smoothly and without interruption. I will closely monitor the team's performance to ensure ongoing progress and high standards.
