We are happy with the excellent care afforded by Radfield Home Care. It has allowed Mum to continue to live independently in her own home where she feels happiest. Mum enjoys chatting with the staff about her garden. The staff provide gentle support, and show dignity and kindness in their caring roles.
After discussing Mum's needs, a care plan was drawn up which is flexible and suits Mum's requirement.

I am very happy indeed with the excellent quality of care and concern shown by our Radfield team who have made a significant improvement to our daily life over the past months that they have been supporting us. At this stage, most of what they do for us is of a household management nature at which they
are exceptionally good. Their attention to detail and the ways in which they involve us in decisions is most impressive. When we have needed extra help it has been provided without difficulty and we have the peace of mind of knowing they are there and can provide extra and more personal care should we need it.

Since receiving home care we can honestly say this has changed our quality of life for the better. The home care professional assisting us with our care plan truly is a star, she shines and stands out for all the right reasons and is such a hard worker who is professional and goes above and beyond to
help. She is excellent at using her initiative and is extremely conscientious in looking at additional ways to help us both with tasks that can prove difficult. She truly cares about what she does, she really does work to an incredibly high standard. She is very accommodating and punctual (thank you for rescheduling when we’ve had to change days). We’re always so very impressed; she really does brighten up the house with her personality, professionalism and hard work. We want to say a massive thank you to all the staff at Radfield Home Care, including our care professional and the manager, you're a true credit to the company and the service that you provide to your clients is outstanding.

The carers from Radfield Home Care (Syston) have been brilliant. They have looked after my husband for about six months and have treated him with care and, at the same time, kept his dignity. Always cheerful and pleasant. My husband was always happy to see them. Definitely have no complaints. Would
give more than five stars if possible.

The carers are all very kind and Mum looks forward to their visits. They focus on her strengths and never make her feel uncomfortable about the things she can no longer do. The service is very flexible and helpful and shows attention to Mum's needs as an individual.

The carers are all very friendly and provide excellent care, monitoring any minor health issues and communicating these to their colleagues and myself. They are all willing to get involved with the physio and reading exercises necessary for my wife's rehabilitation. They always carry out their full
session without me having to find them things to do, unlike staff from our previous care company who were always in a rush to leave. The whole operation is clearly professionally run and well organised and I have not had to contact the office about any concerns since we set them on back in July.

I have been with Radfield Home Care for two months.
They are respectful of me and my property.
I receive a rota, so I know who is visiting my property and at what time.
The care I receive is professional and of a high standard. The carers arrive and leave at the agreed times and will always ask if
there is anything else I need before they leave.
If you need care for yourself or your loved ones I would highly recommend that you contact Radfield Home Care.

Sona has always had a passion for positive contribution. After completing her Bachelor’s degree in science, she started her career working for a reputable pharmaceutical company carrying out biomedical research to support cancer therapy.


“The positive experience helped me to look at wider opportunities to make a difference in society which led me to complete a Masters in Public Health. Since then, I have worked in the private healthcare sector. My primary role was to work with various professionals such as doctors, nurses, occupational therapists and physiotherapists to ensure that clients who were often vulnerable with disabilities had a positive experience with the services provided.”


There has been a big change in the number of older people seeking greater independence, wanting to stay within their own homes. Sona aims to provide a more personalised and quality service as opposed to some of the care alternatives.


“I aspired from a young age to own a business that would positively contribute to society. Running a private home care service within my local area and developing it will provide me with immense satisfaction. This is especially rewarding knowing that my home care service is making a difference in the community and helping people live the best lives they can, independently.”

We would like to introduce you to Victoria Abel, deputy care manager for Radfield Home Care Leicester East, Groby & Oadby. Victoria is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day running of the office in line with CQC regulations and supporting the Care Manager to ensure that the service is safe, caring, responsive and effective.


Victoria is a key point of contact for carers, clients and their families and promotes individuals’ well-being at all times.


Victoria joined the care sector in 2018 as a Care Professional and immediately fell in love with the role, spending the next two years caring for people in their own homes. In June 2020 she moved into the role of Community Care Manager, where she was responsible for a large care team, ensuring their training was up to date.


“I also oversaw the management of over 30 customers, making sure that the day-to-day care plan was reflective of their care needs and completing their reviews when needed. I took customer enquiries and completed any assessments for all areas that the business covered if needed. I was also responsible for communicating with local authorities and the NHS, supporting complex and 24 hour care packages.”
