From the start of our experience asking about live-in carers, New Age have been very professional and obliging.

The carers are excellent and office staff very helpful. My parents love the socials and day trips offered too. So pleased we chose New Age.

A great service and I always know family are in safe caring hands. New Age Care team show great flexibility and are on hand to flex to our needs which can be at short notice and they always do everything to accommodate. The team behind the scenes who plan visits are reliable, super efficient and on the ball! The carer team of ladies that visit are wonderful, calm, wise and upbeat.A brilliant, all round support service.

We can't praise the New Age team enough for all the help & support they provide to my dad. It's not only the excellent day to day care he receives it's all the extra activities he's able to get involved in like Sunday lunch club which has been life changing for him. The carers are always polite professional & engaging the whole mentality of New Age Care seems to be very much a 'can do' attitude. We can't thanks you all enough for everything you do for my dad.

We were recommended to New Age and are so pleased that we took the advice.

Whilst its early days the support and care for Mum has been fabulous.

The team have been professional, always respond quickly when contacted and the caring side is just excellent. Mum requires calm and gentle which is exactly what she receives.

They are such a dedicated team. I definitely recommend New Age Care.

Overall Experience

New Age Care have made my life very comfortable since I had a stroke five years ago. This has involved not only personal services but also being taken out each week, either hopping or to go to events and visiting houses managed by the National Trust. They have enabled me to go on 2 holidays involving cruises aboard and also going to shows and other entertainment. To sum up, they give me a good life at my old age!

Since 2022, New Age Care have provided live-in care for my mum. Their team is responsive, reliable, and genuinely committed, and the standard of care has been consistently excellent.

They've been especially helpful and understanding as her needs have changed, including during periods of hospital admission and discharge, which made a difficult process much easier.

We chose them for their attention to detail, flexibility, and the consistent support they've given not only to my mum but to our whole family while navigating the UK care system.

I arranged care with this provider. Unfortunately, the service was consistently unreliable and poorly managed.

There was an ongoing pattern of shortened visits, carers leaving early, and in some cases visits not taking place at all. Most concerningly, I was left without care on consecutive days with no notice or communication, despite having essential care needs at the time.

Communication was inconsistent and unclear. I was not always informed of changes, and there was confusion around scheduling. I was also repeatedly offered different carers, resulting in a lack of continuity and no consistent support.

The quality of care was variable. Tasks were sometimes left incomplete or required me to redo them, which caused additional physical strain. There were also instances where practices did not feel safe.

Overall, the service did not meet a reasonable standard of reliability, organisation, or consistency. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this provider.

The carers are always cheerful when they visit and when they give me personal care they are kind and caring. I like the early start to come to me and the trimmings during the day fit into my needs well. I also like the late time I am put to bed.

As a carer along with New Age Care, I find I can ring and ask for help, whether my husband gets stuck on commode and can't move his legs to get back to his chair, as someone to come with us when he has hospital appointments and stays with us the whole time. This kind of support and help means a lot to me and makes the time I care for my husband along with New Age Care so much easier and I can cope.

I find the service I get from New Age Care excellent. I not only get good Care but also I use other services from them. In particular cleaning, meal preparation, keeping fit, driving and social events. Carers have accompanied me on a Cruise. In fact a Carer is coming on a Cruise next week. At my request I was taken to see a friend of mine who is not very well. They help me with all aspects of my life. On some days my Carers are the only people I see.

It was a good day when I found New Age.

New Age Care have given mum a purpose in life. She looks forward to the clubs and lunches that they put on regularly so their clients can make new friends and have some company. They provide days out and encourage their clients to choose places where they would like to visit. The care that my mum receives is first class and all the carers are attentive to mum's needs. This company deserves to be recognised for their outstanding work and without doubt I would highly recommend them.

I am originally from a successful family business in Yorkshire. I became involved in care as a result of losing my father to pancreatic cancer and my mother to complications from cancer.

This is how my journey in care began. The reason I decided to start New Age Care was because I didn’t like the ethos in the office of a large care company. I could see a better way to do things.

Josh Allen

Joshua Allen is one of Samantha Whittaker’s sons. Josh is currently serving in the British Army and was recently promoted to Lieutenant, Josh has taken a keen interest in the business.

He has plans to take a more active role in the business when he has finished his service.

My name is Nav, and I’ve just started work as the Head of Governance & Quality Assurance at New Age Care. I am really excited about the opportunity of working with great people who are passionate about delivering outstanding care to people in their local community.

A little about me and what I hope to bring to my new role is my previous work experience. I have over 17 years’ experience working in various healthcare environments, ranging from regulatory organisations such as MHRA, where I worked within the enforcement division, to safeguard public health. The CQC, where I worked in the role of an acute inspector and for Healthwatch Hull, as a delivery manager. I have also worked in other roles as a Registered Manager for Secure Care UK, which is a mental health transport service. As a governance manager for the Proudfoot Care Group (residential care homes), and in my previous role as head of governance for Comforting Hands Limited, which is a Domiciliary Care service.

On a personal level, I am a committed Manchester United fan and love travelling the country with my children, visiting all the major theme parks. Well, it’s more like I get dragged to all the theme parks by my kids; I’m no good with heights, so I find myself crying like a big girl on most of the rides. The kids find it funny, so I guess I’m doing my job as dad. When I’m not spending time with the kids, I’m being dragged around by the other half, mostly on shopping trips where I act as a driver. I also use my skills as a baggage handler to good effect and have got really good at fitting different-sized shopping bags into my boot.

Caroline Treanor

Caroline started her career as a support worker, over 25 years ago. She loved the job from the start and knew that it was the type of work she wanted to do. Over the years she has worked with a range of people of all ages and backgrounds, with care and support needs, in various settings.

There have been some situations during her career that she has found challenging, but by overcoming these challenges and helping someone else through a difficult time, she believes this is part of her vocation that she finds particularly rewarding.

Caroline is passionate about supporting others to maintain their independence and achieve their own personal goals in life.

Outside of work, she enjoys socialising with family and friends and trying to meet up with them as much as she can. She loves to read, especially books about psychology, or true stories. She also enjoys going to the theatre, and music concerts and loves to travel. She finds it fascinating to go to new places and learn about other cultures and traditions.

I’m an experienced marketing consultant who has worked in marketing and sales for over 28 years.

I started my own marketing business, AtKat Marketing, 5 years ago and have helped a variety of local small businesses, across a range of industries, to market and grow their businesses.
