For Shepway, Caremark covers: Folkestone, Hythe, Lydd, Dymchurch, Romney Marsh and everything in between.

The Caremark cleaners who have been to my home have been very professional, very caring and kind. When cleaning they have ensured my son is safe as he is relearning to walk after major trauma. They have checked on him very kindly, although this is not their main purpose, and whether he is having a good or bad day, they are caring and professional. He looks forward to their visit as I work full-time and it breaks up his day. He is still quite housebound at present so having someone he can trust and is happy to have a quick chat with is good for him. Their standard of work is very good and they always check I am satisfied and they have left a record of what they have done every week. I would highly recommend them.

We provide many types of services during care calls and this does include light domestic duties. Called in Caremark to provide two visits a day for my father-in-law, age 87, mainly to prepare meals, check on medication and provide a welfare visit. I personally have had the most contact with the field care supervisor who carried out a very detailed assessment and was able to set up exactly the help we needed. Father-in-law is an anxious sort, so was particularly looking for a care company who could rotate a small number of carers for consistency. Caremark was able to do this and has provided an excellent service ever since. The family are very grateful for their caring and expertise, nothing phases them and they have a very sensible approach. Highly recommended.

I was contacted by the registered care manager to discuss my dad's requirements and the offer of the two weeks (6 hours per week) free of charge was taken up. My dad, who is 87 with dementia and having lost his wife over a year ago, gets very lonely because I have to go to work and his other children do not live close and also work full-time. The care taken over the 'care plan' was very thorough and I felt assured that the Caremark team who visited my dad would have a good understanding of his likes, dislikes and the care that was required to ensure he was safe and had the company he craved. I have had a look at the prices for the companionship that my dad would like and it does seem a little expensive, something that my dad can't budget for at the moment because of the cost of living crisis.
I will look again in the future for assistance as the service was lovely and I felt at ease that my dad would be safe and well looked after. The registered care manager was super and helpful.

For full review transparency, Caremark did not provide free-of-charge care. This was a referral from a respite charity who funded the care directly with Caremark. However, Clare's father was cared for by Caremark and we are pleased to have done so!

I was looking for some help for my 96-year-old father. After trying several local care providers I was becoming rather anxious as they were unable to help me. I was so lucky that I found Caremark. The field care supervisor and her team are amazing. From our first conversation, her home visit to Dad and the help that they have offered we are both delighted. All the staff are kind, sensitive and knowledgeable.
I would not hesitate in recommending Caremark and I am so relieved that I found them.

Caremark is absolutely brilliant, I can't fault them at all. They are extremely punctual, caring, easy going and supportive. I have been having social calls with them which have included taking my Grandma out for a coffee, going to my local pub for lunch and running errands.

James started his career in IT, working from the ground up as a support engineer, through the ranks to senior engineer positions and network administrator roles responsible for the infrastructure, integrity and reliability of systems for big multinationals and SMEs. James has varied exposure to many different industries that have made use of his knowledge, from stock brokerage houses and banks to fruit importers and superyacht owners.
In the last few years, James has been looking for a way to contribute to society in a more meaningful way. James chose to leave IT and set up Caremark in Ashford, covering the Ashford and Shepway districts in Kent. James has a keen emotional interest in making sure care provision is of the highest standards for those that need it, due to some of his own family members’ experiences when receiving care.

She started as a Healthcare Assistant in a local care home, where her confidence grew and soon she became a Senior Healthcare Assistant. From here Barbra went on to a Nursing home and spent 9 months there only leaving to join the NHS. Barbra worked in a General Surgical ward, learning from nurses and improving her knowledge and skills. After 4 years working in a ward, Barbra decided she wanted to work in Infection Control, where she supported Infection control nurses in maintaining and improving the infection control standards within the local hospitals.
After working in infection control for almost 2 years, Barbra became a Deputy Manager for a domiciliary care company based in Ashford, where she gained further knowledge and skills. Barbra ran the business in the absence of the Registered Manager and gained the confidence to be able to do this on a permanent basis. She was recently nominated for the Frontline Leader award for KICA, showing she can be a successful frontline leader.
Barbra enjoys working in the care sector as it makes a difference in individuals’ lives, where they may only see care workers throughout the day, due to not having any family and friends, or because their family isn’t able to take care of them.
