I started care work in 1991, working in residential and nursing homes. When domiciliary was introduced to me I moved over to care for people in their own homes.
I have been a coordinator for care, still attending care calls alongside this job.
I have now moved to recruitment as I feel I have all the knowledge needed to recognise a worthy carer. I’m still attending care calls as I really don’t think I could ever stop caring for others.
