Christine and her team have been looking after my mum (aged 87) for over 2 years now, and we are really happy with the care provided. We have particularly appreciated the flexibility at short notice as Mum's care needs have changed. As well as helping with regular tasks such as assisting with medication, laundry, meals and light cleaning, they have always been willing to go above and beyond; e.g. collecting shopping when needed, watering the garden and feeding pets. Another aspect I have particularly valued is the regular contact. Short reports are sent out after every visit. We have also found Christine very responsive when we have asked the carers to do something at short notice, or to go over to check on Mum if we are concerned. This has provided a lot of reassurance as I and my brothers do not live nearby.
Mum was initially resistant to having carers but now seems to really value their company and enjoy the visits. Highly recommended.

The carers seem to have done a good job, particularly as mum generally says she doesn't want them there. Maybe they could do a bit more cleaning and tidying sometimes but I appreciate it's difficult as mum expresses opposition to them doing it. I think she likes some companionship, however, when she doesn't see anyone else all day. And having someone go in when we're not there of course puts our minds at rest in terms knowing she hasn't had an accident etc.

This home care company continues to provide excellent care for my 85-year-old mother. Since the family commenced with their services they have provided an excellent level of personal care and been very helpful with tasks around the house. They have also been very reliable in communicating any important information concerning my mother to the rest of the family. I would strongly recommend this care provider to anyone looking for care provision for an elderly relative or friend.

Had disabling post-sepsis syndrome and IBS. Couldn't move, was sore and in a mess. Macdave amazing. Nothing too much trouble. Came in the morning and late at night for weeks. Never a complaint. Got me equipment, physios and District nurses. With their care, Macdave has made me ten times stronger....

Carers are always punctual, outstanding care workers go above and beyond to ensure that I am well looked after. Usually accompany me for social activities, and implement diet needs as per doctor's advice, their cleaning is spot on, the food is hygienic and the preparation is excellent. Very professional, well-trained staff who always kept me up to date with daily improvements and schedules. Would definitely recommend their services to anyone. Well done to Macdave Services.

Always punctual, outstanding care workers who went above and beyond to ensure Mum was well looked after, always accompanied her for her social activities, implemented diet needs as per doctor's advice, their cleaning was also spot on, food hygienic and preparation is excellent.
