Elsie's care for my mother-in-law and my late Father-in-law. The staff are kind, caring and understanding of their needs. They supply support and understand, encouraging and assisting in personal care. They both suffer/ed from dementia which is not always easy. My Mother-in-law loves chatting to the staff as she doesn't want to go out very often.
We really appreciate the updates of the visits which help us be aware of any problems that may have arisen.

The office staff are brilliant too always on hand to help.

The carer I have now is brilliant. She takes me out in in wheelchair as I can't walk without aid and doesn't mind where we go. In the flat she is very helpful with various tasks. Hygiene very good and very willing to do anything I ask.

The carers at Elsie's who look after my dad are truly exceptional. From the very beginning, they have shown genuine kindness, professionalism, and compassion in everything they do. It's incredibly reassuring to know that he is in such capable and caring hands.

What really stands out is how flexible and accommodating the team are. Whenever we've needed to change visit times or adjust care arrangements, they've always done their very best to help and make things work. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and that level of support makes a huge difference to families like ours.

The carers treat my dad with real dignity and respect, and they take the time to build a genuine connection with him rather than simply rushing through their tasks. It's clear that they truly care about the people they support.

I'm extremely grateful for everything the team at Elsie's does. Their dedication, reliability, and warmth make them stand out, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

We are currently using Else's for my uncle.
I also used them for my mum (2024) and my dad (2022) so I think that speaks volumes.

I don't know what we would have done without there help. They give me piece of mind that my family member is being looked after on a daily basis. It's just so comforting and they are all lovely people with care as there top priority.

The carers have been coming in each morning to shower/wash and help my husband to dress since July 2025. My husband has Alzheimer's and he is often moody as he doesn't feel that he needs any help. He may not be happy to see them but after a while I can hear him talking and laughing with them. He normally comes downstairs in a good mood which then sets us up for the day.

Elsie's has been a fantastic support to my mum who for the past year has lived on her own with dementia. All staff have been very friendly and she felt comfortable with them. I felt happy that mum was so well looked after. Prior to this they also cared for my dad with his many physical issues and his end of life care. I highly recommend them.

All the staff an Elsie's help at home are fantastic. They care for my mum, showing kindness, understanding and empathy but at the same time are aware that they need to support and encourage mum . Mum has mobility and memory issues and the carers manage her really well. Mum also loves chatting to the girls who care for her. Also the fact that there are usually only 4or4 carers in the team caring for mum means she has continuity of care and she gets to know the carers and they know her . The office staff are also there in the background altering care plans and supporting. Excellent service .

Terrible company who did not listen when i said my dad needed more help. I would never recommend this company to anyone and have complained to the CQC about them. Even on the day my dad went to hospital i called twice begging for help. A heartless company who also lied to social services.

The carers who support my elderly mother have been exceptional. They provide personal care with kindness, professionalism, and genuine warmth, and are always happy to help with any domestic tasks when time allows. Every member of the team is friendly, dedicated, and completely committed to my parents' wellbeing.
My parents were initially very reluctant to have carers in their home, but thanks to the team's gentle, respectful approach, they now feel entirely comfortable and often say they wouldn't be without them. The carers are also highly attentive to any changes in health and raise concerns promptly, giving our family great peace of mind.

I could not praise them more highly. Their support has transformed a difficult transition into something positive and reassuring for us all.

Elsie's Help at Home have been providing care for my neighbour for over 18 months. The visits started with an hour twice a week, now she has three visits a day, The staff are amazing and help my neighbour with domestic, medication and socialising. Mum has dementia with multiple areas of her life that need support. We engaged Elsie's around 2 years ago. Lyndsey was the first contact and she set the standard.
I have relied on their vast experience for advice and support as I am mums overall carer.
Mum relies on the ladies for all her day to day needs and they are always met.
The communication is exceptional. They feel like an extension of family at times, the care and empathy displayed confirms that despite it being a challenging role all of the ladies deliver.
Staff 5 stars because they are fab
Care/Support 5 stars because they do care and don't just support mum they support me too.
Management 5 stars Lyndsey and her team are very available to the customer and will address any difficulties you have.
Dignity 5 stars, these ladies are professionals

Value for money 5 stars, I have no idea how prices compare, I never looked elsewhere. But yes great value for the service provided.

Towards the end of last year my 95 year old mum started to find many aspects of daily life more challenging, and we realized that we needed help. We contacted Elsie's care at home, and they visited mum to assess her and her home. We were given lots of invaluable advice, and are now having care visits a couple of times a week, with a view to increasing this as mum's needs inevitably become greater. They arranged for mum to have the same carer for all visits, and mum's initial reticence to have help has now changed to complete acceptance. We feel that this is entirely due to the professionalism and patient attention of the carer.

The carers and office staff at Elsie's Help at Home have been a huge support to our parents on a daily basis, providing them with vital personal care, administering medication, helping at mealtimes and most importantly friendly chats. Our parents' care plan has changed on several occasions but nothing is too much trouble for the team and this has proved invaluable for us, knowing that our parents are in good hands. We are able to see updates and information regarding each visit on an app which gives us peace of mind and comfort, knowing for example, that they are safely and comfortably in bed. We can't thank the team enough for their kindness, friendliness and flexibility and would strongly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable team to care for their loved ones.

We employed Elsie's help at home for my Dad who was 93 and living on his own. We felt he needed help with meals and hygiene twice a day. Dad was fiercely independent but Lyndsey spoke to him in a way that put his mind at ease. All the carers that attended my dads were of the highest quality, very caring and all had the time to treat him with care and dignity. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company. They are extreme caring and professional

I cannot speak highly enough of the whole team at Elsie's Help at Home. The carers are kind, patient and supportive and the management team were amazing in meeting mum's increasing need for care at very short notice. Every aspect of this organisation is wonderful. They are efficient, professional and support the whole family with kindness and compassion. As my mother's health rapidly deteriorated, her care needs were constantly changing and the Elsie's team were always on hand to meet her needs. Mum received care from a large number of Elsie's carer and each carer showed up on time, and looked after mum with wonderful gentleness, compassion, dignity and good humour. I feel extremely blessed to have had the loving support of the Elsie's Help at Home team and can honestly say it was a privilege to have got to know them. I recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who wants to provide the highest quality of care to their loved ones.
