Kind and caring, and all done with a personal touch. They look after my mum so well, she feels so comfortable with her carer. The manager checks in regularly to make sure everything is OK. Would recommend to anyone looking for carers.

The care I have received from Ascentia has been a rock of support that has helped me find stability after being in a bad state. The carer and the manager are always available, extremely kind, responsive and respect my choices.

The manager and Ascentia have been excellent since the very first interview. They have always treated Mum with great respect, genuinely caring for her, not just treating her as a 'job'. They have supported Mum with domestic tasks and increasingly personal care as her condition worsens. They have also
been a point of contact for health professionals visiting Mum at home. Record keeping and communication with me has been thorough, timely and helpful. The manager brings a wealth of experience, shown in her continual assessment of risks, advice to me on help available to Mum, highlighting things to prepare for in the near future, and her gentle encouragement to Mum to avoid 'risky' behaviour. Mum was apprehensive of having carers but now looks forward to their visits. As new staff have been brought onboard you can tell they have been careful to match the 'right' carer to Mum.
