Credit where credit is due the manager your team have been life changing for my self and sister . Mam is so happy with the lady's that support her they are kind and thoughtful always happy to put mams needs first . Mam looks forward to her little spins in the car to the beach or harbour they some times have an ice cream too mams delighted with that mam has a sweet tooth . I had extreme help from Carers Trust Crossroads. My husband is sadly not wishing care, today was such a success. The gentleman that came was here a long while as I was at hospital. I could tell my husband was happy when I phoned. He felt he was so helpful in getting food and drinks etc, also gave him confidence to talk, lots in common. A day later, still telling me he enjoyed the chat and says 'such a nice man' many times. I am so thankful.

I am more than pleased with the service received and will describe it as excellent.

I cannot thank Crossroads enough, I care for both my parents 90 and 95. I don't have carers coming in daily so the help I get from the staff at Crossroads is priceless. Those hours that my parents are looked after give me a chance to catch up on much-needed sleep or just for myself and my partner to go out and have a cuppa. My parents have become very familiar with two of the staff and look forward to their visits each week.

Could not be without the help of Crossroads. My son is very happy to go with them and it gives me and my family some quality time together without him as he can sometimes be challenging and demanding.

I can't comment on value for money as our package is funded by the local authority however I will say all of the staff we've met are very knowledgeable, supportive, and understanding.

We have found Crossroads a godsend, our lives have become much more manageable, having the reassurance that when I go out my husband is being looked after, he also enjoys the time he spends with the sitter having a chat and getting to know them. I have found the time I get to myself enables me to come home and spend time with my husband and chat about where I have been and this makes him happy that I can do things for myself. We are both so grateful for the help we get.

They take into consideration his ability and provide a care/support package that he enjoys.

Their communication is excellent i.e weekly timesheets and any changes are pointed out in advance when possible. The staff are flexible and adaptable. The service provided is excellent and gives me great peace of mind. Thank you seems an inadequate thing to say.

I cannot express how grateful I am for all the care my son receives from each one of the carers who attend to him daily. They are all so friendly and helpful. My life is a lot easier having them visit every morning.

My mother had a very bad fall during the night on the landing of her home. Her carer, who works for Crossroads, found her in the morning. The carer immediately contacted the emergency services and the family and provided Mum with care, support and comfort until emergency services arrived. The carer also assisted the emergency services, kept Mum calm and explained what was happening so she was not afraid. The carer was highly professional, competent and obviously well trained.

We are very happy with the level of service provided which is why we would be likely to recommend this to others. Sometimes carers are not available due to holidays or sickness but this is understandable. One area that could be improved is communication but other than that it's fine.

Carers Trust Crossroads West Wales have been an invaluable resource in enabling me to care for my father and continue to work and have some downtime. They are reliable and friendly and very approachable and a mine of information. I cannot recommend or praise them enough they have been a lifeline during a very difficult and challenging time within social care.

Our carer is always pleasant and dependable. She has made an effort to get to know the client and understand his needs and interests. I feel confident that I'm able to leave him in good hands and that he'll be well cared for. She's always willing to go the extra mile to make things easier for my husband and I.

The service that we have is a lifeline for me as a mother as my daughters need 24/7 care and without this service, I would never manage on my own and the staff are excellent. They are trained in special tasks that are needed to help look after my daughters. The staff are a big part of our family and I can go out for a little bit of respite and I don’t need to worry about my girls. Crossroads have enabled us to trust staff coming into our home to care for our child after he sustained a traumatic brain injury. As parents learning to trust has been a big stepping stone for us, and crossroads staff have understood, shown empathy and enabled us to build that relationship with them so we feel comfortable. My son looks forward to seeing their happy friendly faces and so do we. It's given us a chance to spend time with our daughter on a one-to-one basis (which she also needs) knowing that my son is out having a good time and being well looked after. Nothing is too much for them. Thank you!

The support my brother received was vital in helping him to settle into the area, after his move from a very small town in England. The carers suggested visits to places which in time would become familiar to my brother enabling him to feel more comfortable in his new surroundings. The carers were very friendly, thoughtful and punctual. Any changes that were made to the weekly rota were made in good time and I was notified of these changes by email. The service provided was excellent.

My adult disabled daughter has received excellent care from Crossroads at home for the last 10 plus years. This has involved reliable personal care morning and evening and respite care at home as well as accompanying her to Daycare pre-pandemic. Crossroads staff were well trained to manage her complex needs and medical conditions. Their care and interest were very obvious and she formed close relationships with many of the staff. The management team were always approachable and flexible and I felt listened to and supported as a parent. I am very grateful and cannot imagine what life would have been like without Crossroads.
