I have to say right from the beginning , I would never use this company again, the comunication was abysmal as was the care my father received, the lack of common sense was amazing. I have to say right from the beginning , I would never use this company again, the comunication was abysmal as was the care my father received, the lack of common sense was amazing. Whenever there was an issue that didnt suit the carer they immediately threatened to withdraw their services. There were some small flies in his kitchen, get rid of them or...tell your father he smells or...and the last straw he has bed bugs he will need to move out ...or. This man was 98 with altzheimers, . The said they had pictures of bed bugs so he was shoved downstairs into the communal lounge on his own , then after questioning we were told actually they were carpet beetles....No-one attempted to discuss or work with us to sort these issues,. Sadly shortly after he suddenly deteriorated and died on the 22th October, we will never know how the toxic attitude of the Icare people contributed to his decline.

We have recorded discussions, voicemails left on mobiles and landline and an email sent on the 30th September 2026 to his daughter asking the family for assistance in improving his living conditions, but his family would not engage. The housing...
We were very sorry to hear of R's passing.
We have recorded discussions, voicemails left on mobiles and landline and an email sent on the 30th September 2026 to his daughter asking the family for assistance in improving his living conditions, but his family would not engage. The housing manager was also trying to address these with his family.
We have no knowledge of him being moved to the communal lounge, this was not ICare's doing.
