I would like to thank Unique Senior Care, for the care my Father received whilst he was on Palliative care. Especially to Hannah & Stephanie for altering the rota's, often at very short notice to accommodate Dad's changing needs, enabling him to stay at home. Special thanks to Urszula, Jas, Kelsey
& Madhu for the amazing care & support they gave to dad & the family during his final days at home. We would not have been able to support Dad in his final wish to pass away at home without the support from the Unique Senior Care Staff. I would not hesitate in referring them to anyone needing care & I would highly recommend the service they offer.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior Care | Coventry & KenilworthThank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We appreciate the trust you placed in us to support your Father during such an important time.
I'm so pleased Hannah and Stephanie were able to adjust things as your Father's needs changed, especially at short notice. That flexibility can make such a difference. Urszula, Jas, Kelsey and Madhu will be very touched to hear your feedback. They will have taken great care in supporting both your Father and your family in those final days. I'm glad we could help make it possible for him to remain at home, as he wished.

Both my mom in law and me have found staff and volunteers who run the Memory Cafe at the church to be very kind, patient & helpful. We are both on a new learning journey with Alzheimer's and have been shown kindness. Thank you to all staff and volunteers who run the Memory Cafe. Thank you too for all
the helpful and useful information provided. All is very much appreciated.

As a family we have been happy with the service we have received. All the carers are caring and trustworthy and I have been comfortable with having them in our home. The only issue has been the timing of visits, in the evening especially, as my mum prefers a late call at 9pm. Problems with staff sickness
and rotas, I believe.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior Care | Coventry & KenilworthThank you for sharing this, and for your honest feedback. It's great to hear that you've felt comfortable with the team in your home and that the care itself has been positive. That trust is important. We also appreciate you raising the timing of visits. We know how important it is for calls to fit around personal routines, particularly in the evenings. There was a period where some visits needed to be adjusted to ensure care could be delivered safely, but we're pleased that they are now taking place at your preferred times. Thank you again for your feedback. It's really helpful.

Unique Senior Care stepped in at very short notice to provide a care package so Mum could be discharged home from hospital after a stroke for which we were extremely grateful. The carers were all really kind and patient with Mum which helped her transition from hospital to home to go.as smoothly as
possible. All the staff have been brilliant and I would highly recommend the whole team. Thank you again for your amazing support as a difficult and stressful time.

We really appreciate your recommendation and will make sure your kind words are shared with the team.

I think the staff that I have met so far at Unique Senior Care are all lovely. I feel very comfortable being around them. The gentleman on the phone has a very reassuring voice and that's what you need to hear when you're unsure about care. The lady who did the consultation was very easy to chat with
and I felt comfortable around her and I knew she would do what she said she would.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior Care | Coventry & KenilworthThank you for sharing this feedback. We'll be sure to pass your kind comments on to the team.

As always a very good experience with Unique. What I have noticed recently is the support they give me as well as my mum. Thats always been there since mum started having her carers, Ive always been able to email and ask questions no matter how simple. I really like the way Unique is totally committed
to family centered care without judgement and understands the nuances of the elderly frail person with patience and knowledge.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior Care | Coventry & KenilworthThank you for sharing this. It's really good to hear that you've felt supported as well as your mum, as that's just as important. Being able to ask questions and get a response, even on the small things, can make a big difference when you're navigating care day to day. We also appreciate what you've said about the way the team approach care. Taking the time to understand each person properly, and supporting families without judgement, sits at the heart of how things should be done. We're pleased this has been your experience and will make sure your comments are passed on to the team.

My wife has dementia, we are both in our mid 80's and I needed some help. Unique have been brilliant. Everything I said we needed has been provided in a friendly, professional and cheerful manner. I was concerned that my wife would struggle to accept help but the lady who comes is the same one each
time, which was something we requested, has built up a good relationship with her. She was resistant at first but, she is now happier to accept the much needed help. My wife has good and bad days. The bad days are managed very respectfully by the carer and she can usually persuade my wife to agree to some help.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior CareThank you for sharing this thoughtful review. It's reassuring to hear that having the same Caregiver has helped build trust over time. This is something we believe is really important, as consistency can make a big difference, especially when support is new and not always easy to accept. We're pleased the support has made things a little easier for you both and will be sure to pass your comments on to the team.

First and foremost, if you're in the area and you're looking for the very best of carers for your families, look no further, you've found them!
One of my grandparents has severe mobility issues, and the other has Dementia (due to L.O.A), and we reached a point in January 2026 where we had to look
for carers, and we found Unique.
They're rated the highest they can be with the CQC and it absolutely shows, they're so very attentive and I can't put into words the level of reassurance I feel when they are round.
I live on the other side of the country so the fact I feel comfortable travelling up and down every week is a testament to the care they provide. They ensure both my grandparents eat well; are clean, have a clean house, are washed, go to the shops with them and most importantly they take time to talk and understand their emotional needs as well.
They are well, well, well, worth the cost and I implore you, if you are looking for carers for your loved ones, please choose Unique.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior CareThank you for taking the time to leave such a thoughtful review. We know how much trust is involved when you're arranging care from a distance, so I'm really glad to hear that you feel comfortable and reassured when the team is there. That peace of mind is so important for families.
With hourly care, it's often the consistency and relationships built over time that make that possible, so it's great to hear that's been your experience. Your comments will be really appreciated by the Caregivers who support your grandparents. Thanks again for placing your trust in us.

Unique have brought peace of mind with their professional and very caring service. From the first phone call, and then every subsequent staff member I met, gave me a feeling of confidence. It's a daunting prospect when you feel the time has come to seek help. My 96 year old father was very anxious at
the thought of carers entering the home when he was alone to help with his morning routine. Hannah put my father at ease with her initial visit to meet us when she so patiently talked everything through with him. We feel lucky in having a small number of carers so my father knows them all and has consistency. We have a rota for the month so know which carer is coming each day and time of arrival. I have the utmost faith in all the carers as they are all so kind and caring, often going above and beyond, and my father looks forward to their arrival each morning. I now personally understand why Unique comes highly recommended as I too have nothing but praise for the service offered by Unique.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior Care | Coventry & KenilworthThank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. We know how much thought goes into that first step, especially when it's something your Father was unsure about. It's good to hear that, with the right approach and familiar faces, things have settled into a routine that works for him and feels more comfortable day to day. Hannah and the team will really appreciate your kind words. Taking the time to build trust and keep things consistent is something they place a big emphasis on, so it's reassuring to hear your experience.

Vic and I started to attend the Knowle + Dorridge memory cafe in the early days. We did not know what to expect and Vic was somewhat reluctant at the thought. From the very moment we walked through the door, we were made so welcome both by 'Unique' staff + the wonderful team of volunteers. The activities
are well planned + very enjoyable - assigned to stimulate the mind in various ways. The talks are invariably interesting, themed crafts enhance achievement feelings, therapy dog is very calming. Brilliant for carers.
Reply from Philip Maundrill, Director at Unique Senior CareThank you for taking the time to share this feedback. It's good to hear that you both felt welcomed from the outset. Uniques senior home care did a great job of looking after Mum so I could have a short break.
We were introduced to the team and carers prior to the days we requested and were very friendly and made Mum feel comfortable.
The whole process went very smoothly and we will be getting in touch again for
the next break.

After doing lots of research for a suitable care agency for my mum who has dementia, I have been so impressed with Unique Senior Care. They are quick to respond to queries and have ensured that Mum had the best possible match with a carer who would get on well with her.
Mum's care started today, and
I was thrilled to meet her carer when I visited. She and Mum have really hit it off which is a huge reassurance for us as a family.
Two weeks ago, Mum was completely against having any help at home; but today she was so grateful to have assistance in getting ready to go out to her day centre -and so was I!
Knowing that there is a kind, supportive carer helping Mum is an absolute God send, and I can't thank Unique enough.

Staff very welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable regarding what the clients, family and friends need. The whole morning is relaxed, and lots of different activities every week for all of us to do and join in with, it's a lot of fun for everyone. Thank you to all the staff who give up their time
