My wife has been receiving care from APT Care for nearly a year. The carers have been very helpful and friendly, especially the afternoon and evening team. We are both very happy with the care that my wife has received.

The carers are very helpful and attentive, they never fail to put a smile on my father's face. They are also very respectful to me and my family and communicate efficiently in regards to my father's care.

We have frequent carers of APT for my wife. They are both very careful handling her as she bruises easily. She enjoys their good sense of humour and teach each other new words in their respective languages often. They are both professional, kind and courteous and carry out the early morning call...
We have frequent carers of APT for my wife. They are both very careful handling her as she bruises easily. She enjoys their good sense of humour and teach each other new words in their respective languages often. They are both professional, kind and courteous and carry out the early morning call which is the important one as it involves body and hair washes and they leave her feeling refreshed and comfortable for the rest of the day.

We have had APT Care since she came out of hospital in January. We have been really pleased with the excellent care provided by your company.

We have had APT Care since she came out of hospital in January. We have been really pleased with the excellent care provided by your company.
We have generally had the same carers but also due to days off and holiday coverage the replacement carers have been excellent as well.
One lady has covered several times and we have found her very helpful courteous respectful and done everything we have asked her to assist us.

My uncle was 101 when he died. The last year of his life was made so much better with the care he received from APT. Up to then he had not had any regular carers and had fallen at home a number of times and this resulted in him ending up in hospital on more than one occasion and had taken a...
My uncle was 101 when he died. The last year of his life was made so much better with the care he received from APT. Up to then he had not had any regular carers and had fallen at home a number of times and this resulted in him ending up in hospital on more than one occasion and had taken a significant toll on his health. His health improved with the support of APT, to the point where he was able to leave home and enjoy lunch with us on a number of occasions.
APT did keep in touch with us and let us know if there were any problems with his care. Their carers daily reports were kept up to date and available for us to see. My uncle was very happy with APT and he built a strong relationship with all the carers who visited him.

Carer left Dad's walker out of reach! So dad couldn't walk.
Evening carers left Dad very wet. I checked his medication and they had not been giving him any which is extremely dangerous, he was hungry too. Luckily I went around to check Dad. He was very confused and said the carers were coming...

Evening carers left Dad very wet. I checked his medication and they had not been giving him any which is extremely dangerous, he was hungry too. Luckily I went around to check Dad. He was very confused and said the carers were coming back. Adult abuse and horrible service have left me with no confidence in having carers for my dad. Do not use this company.

Initial enquiries suggest the frame was moved, but it is inconclusive regarding who and how. Staff did attempt to administer medication, which was declined. The lessons learned will be shared, and action taken as appropriate.

APT Care has to be in my opinion a very poor Care Home Provider.
My experience with the aforementioned company is one of disbelief.
There were some Carers that in my opinion should not be working in care as they showed no empathy towards an elderly man in his 80's.

The level of service was very poor with the carers not fulfilling their allotted time with my father and just doing the bare minimum and just going through the motions and also filling in their daily records, saying they had done everything that was needed doing, which was not the case.

Nine months assisting with the care of a terminally ill lady, by way of four visits daily, seven days a week, and greatly appreciated by her husband, sister and her own family.
A team of grand ladies and girls, who always showed dedication and understanding, sometimes under difficult circumstances. Some were exceptional and went the extra mile, both attending to the patient's physical needs and raising her declining morale, and indeed also that of her family.
Sadly they often seemed to work under stressful conditions, time constraints and other factors which contributed to making their life more difficult than perhaps was necessary.
A team of grand ladies and girls, who always showed dedication and understanding, sometimes under difficult circumstances. Some were exceptional and went the extra mile, both attending to the patient's physical needs and raising her declining morale, and indeed also that of her family.
Sadly they often seemed to work under stressful conditions, time constraints and other factors which contributed to making their life more difficult than perhaps was necessary.
Overall, well-done everybody concerned; you will be remembered with affection for a long time to come.
