We have found most of the people who come helpful and friendly, willing to do everything from washing and shaving my husband and making beds to taking letters to the post. Because we cannot get out much they have a little chat and take an interest in our lives. The only slight minus is the timing of visits cannot be exact so it can be difficult to time meals etc., but we are informed of any big variation.

Bridge Care Services are very good in my view because they visit my father and if a problem arises like hospital appointments or doctors appointments that I am unable to take him to they arrange care to suit. The staff are respectful to my father and he looks forward to them coming.

My elderly parents finally agreed to have care after much persuading. However, they are now very happy to allow the very pleasant and hard working staff to help them daily.
Any problems are always flagged up and this gives peace of mind to us as well as them.

A very hard job is done in a friendly and efficient way.

We have always found Bridge Care to be reliable and compassionate, despite increasing disability and consequent demands on the service it has coped cheerfully and effectively.
Our father has been able to stay in his own home much longer that might otherwise have been the case.

He has always been treated with dignity and cared for sensitively.

My mother has been with Bridge Care for a number of years now and currently has 6 visits a day.
Where possible the office allow continuity in her care.

Mums dignity and respect are always catered for and sometimes I need to ring them for an earlier call which has been facilitated, eg. If she urgently needed the toilet.

My mother in law has Dementia (limited short term memory)
Bridge Care have been looking after her for over 4years, initially a morning call to give her medication, this then increased to three times a day at mealtimes, also to help with personal care.
Bridge Care have been brilliant, they call if there are any concerns, we have very good communication with them. When my husband was going through cancer treatment and ops it meant I did not have to worry, as I knew she was being well cared for.
It is great that she has a rota of the same carers, some of whom go over and beyond the call of duty.

They are great and do an excellent job. Thank you.

I was admitted to hospital on August 16th, 2016 to have a complete left shoulder replacement. After the operation, I was discharged on August 25th, 2016. My care with Bridge Care started on August 29th, 2016. I really did not want any care but when the care started I was amazed at the service that all these girls/ladies provided for me. Every person connected to Bridge Care were exceptional, nothing was too much trouble for these ladies to do. If I need any care in the future I will not hesitate to contact the office at Bridge Care. By the way, I am an 89-year-old gentleman. I totally relied on my carers.

My brother and I are so appreciative of the care and attention all the carers give to my mum (and dad). One weekend stands out though, one of my mum's carers noted a bulge in my mum's groin and thought it may be a hernia, my mum had been vomiting as well so the carer contacted the office and to cut a long story my mum's GP was contacted. A visit arranged and my mum given the all clear. It was so good to know that action would be taken when problems reported. We were kept informed all the time. Thank you so much for all you do.

I contacted Bridge Care last year as we needed some extra help for my mum after my dad passed away.
Mum was really reluctant to have anyone in her house and especially carers. Bridge Care took the time to come out to meet us and especially to meet mum so they could match her with the perfect carer for both her needs, and her personality.
Right from the first visit mum took a real shine to the ladies that were chosen to visit her and she now sees them as her friends not carers. As mum has Alzheimer's her needs and her moods can change from visit to visit but the team just cope amazingly. Nothing ever seems to be a trouble to them, from the management in the office to the carers, I can not speak highly enough of them all.

Thank you Bridge Care, you are making our lives so much better, especially mums.
