All of the carers are lovely with my parents. As well as the care they provide my dad, they are also lovely company for Mum and Dad. The staff in the office are always very responsive and supportive. I would happily recommend to others.

I have been receiving care from Broomfield for over 6 years and I would certainly recommend the company. The manager is caring, hands-on and passionate about the care the company provides. These qualities are reflected in her staff and carers who are competent, caring, helpful and friendly.

My mother in law was not keen to accept care or had any experience of help. The carers worked with her and helped as appropriate and there grew a mutual respect and appreciation. She never would have managed at home without their care and dedication to her needs.

I have used Broomfield Care for my Mum for over two years now and the care she received has been excellent. Even when her needs changed and I asked for more care, they did their very best to accommodate us as soon as they could, always keeping me informed and updated. I felt staff went above and beyond
as they also supported me emotionally on many occasions. I can't speak more highly enough of Broomfield Care. Excellent service.

Broomfield has cared for my brother for over three years. In all that time, they have been reliable - arrived on time or on the few occasions when a carer was held up - contacted me.

The level of care provided by the staff was very good. I was surprised to learn that Broomfield Care continued to charge fees for 14 days after my father's death. A "14 days notice" was included in the contract, but I thought that in the event of death, this would not (or should not) apply. I cannot
understand the justification for this. The matter has now been resolved.

Broomfield Care Home have bee brilliant in supporting me in caring for my mother. I work and study and have children with special needs and so the respite their visits provide me with is immeasurable. Late notice additional care and changes in visit times have also been organised without fuss. I would
not be able to do what I do without them.

Broomfield Care Services provided a very professional and caring service. We had absolute confidence in them from the beginning. All the staff were kind, caring and considerate and treated my father with dignity at all times. They often asked how Mum and me were, treating the whole family so thoughtfully.
They were there supporting us during a sad time of my father's failing health and passing.

Both the office staff and carers are helpful and friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them. The carers themselves are well trained, smart in appearance, punctual and very efficient. I am surprised at what they achieve in the short time that they are in my home.
Broomfield Care was recommended
to me by a friend and I would, in turn, recommend the company to anyone who has the need of personal care.

All carers are very respectful and focus on Mum. She is now very fond of some of them. I am looking to increase the hours and undoubtedly I will want Broomfield to help. The office team are always very helpful and understanding at difficult times too.

My elderly Aunt, who lived in Shurdington, was very independent. She loved her home in which she had lived for about 40 years. She had had a healthy life, but at the age of 92, she started to decline rapidly, and could no longer look after herself. She was determined to stay in her own home. I discovered
Broomfield on this website and talked to the Care Manager - an excellent decision. Broomfield put in place a care plan, and we adjusted this as my Aunts needs grew steadily greater.


The Broomfield carers were superb - friendly, supportive, efficient, thoughtful, reliable, and supremely professional. They communicated exceptionally well with my Aunt who grew very fond of them, with the NHS staff involved, and with me as Next of Kin. They were with her at her very end, and I am eternally grateful to them.


My only regret is that my Aunt and I didn’t talk to Broomfield a couple of years before her decline set in. I’m sure she would have benefited hugely from their service.

Vicky

Vicky Hall

Job Title: Company Owner and Registered Manager Joined: 2009

Vicky Hall, the owner of Broomfield Care, has over 20 years of experience at the sharp end of care. She has provided care and support in a variety of different roles, from working with vulnerable adults and children in care to working in care homes for the elderly and for people with learning disabilities.


Vicky established Broomfield Care at the beginning of 2008. Shortly before this her Grandmother had become older and needed additional support. However, when Vicky tried to organise home care for her, she couldn’t find a company that matched up to her high expectations of quality care, delivered by dedicated and committed staff.


Vicky then decided to set up her own business providing care for others at the level she believed everyone was entitled to. She named the company after the hamlet her Grandmother had lived in, Broomfield in Kent.


At Broomfield Care, Vicky is supported by a hand-picked team of dedicated, committed and highly-skilled professionals.

Charlotte

Charlotte Greener

Job Title: Care Manager Joined: 2021

Charlotte joined the team as Deputy Manager in September 2021, and immediately loved the welcoming spirit of the team. Since then, Charlotte has been promoted to Care Manager, in 2023.


Charlotte has been developing her experience within the care sector since she left school at 18, specialising in dementia, end of life and elderly care. She enjoys the variety of people she interacts with on a day-to-day basis, making everyday very different! She is especially proud of the level of care we provide, promoting person-centred care and independence within ones home.

She’s also responsible for hosting regular staff training sessions and 1-to-1 meetings to guarantee our carers have a fair opportunity to develop their skills and care careers.
