My mother was in and out of hospital throughout the period covered by Broomfield carers. This must have caused havoc with their carers rotas at times, but they always responded to my requests without query.
Medicine dispenser not working, staff told the office but not me - who could sort it out.
Medication was going to be incorrectly administered, but my mother corrected them.
Food bin was requested to be emptied as necessary. Rarely done, often growing.
Bin in the toilet for incontinence pads not emptied.
Hearing aid often not put in.
Sandwich was given for lunch one day and then no supper was left.
Clear instructions on the notice board to help staff as much as possible. Anyone new only had to read requirements.
This is for an 81-year-old, frail, of poor mobility, poor health, weighing 6 1/2 stone, with dementia.
All carers friendly and helpful.
I am extremely satisfied with my son's care package with the above agency. He has continued to be a happy person and has a good rapport with all the caring staff who attend to him.
Very professional and reliable company. My parents were quite at ease with these "strangers" coming into their home and liked them immediately. Thorough daily logs were religiously recorded and the family could not have been more relaxed and trusting of the Broomfield carers!
Object to being met with "who are you" by people we employ. "Hello I am the carer, have we met before" is more polite.
They never complete the criteria of light housework, rather have a nice chat.
Every member of staff involved in the care of my mother provided an excellent level of service. They were always courteous, cheerful and treated my mother with respect. She always looked forward to the visits and enjoyed the general social interaction.
The care and professionalism and being so helpful in getting us some advice and grab rails and non-slip bath mat, altogether a very pleasant company and very nice people.
Broomfield Care Home have always been responsive to the care needs of my parents and have at certain times bent over backwards to accommodate their needs and changing circumstances.
I would like carers to be on the time I requested or near to it, as sometimes they arrive 1 ½ sometimes later than the requested time of 9am. I would also like them to check the fridge and dispose of any out of date food when making sandwiches.
They were very good.
The carers are friendly, courteous and mindful of my needs. I am completely satisfied with my care.
Very happy with the service provided by Broomfield Care Home Care Services.
Each time we have had careers for holidays I have been more than pleased with the ladies. They treat dad with great respect as he's 100 on April 13th. Very happy with the service.
Fairly good, did not arrive once.

Meet the Team (7)
Vicky Hall, the owner of Broomfield Care, has over 20 years of experience at the sharp end of care. She has provided care and support in a variety of different roles, from working with vulnerable adults and children in care to working in care homes for the elderly and for people with learning disabilities.
Vicky established Broomfield Care at the beginning of 2008. Shortly before this her Grandmother had become older and needed additional support. However, when Vicky tried to organise home care for her, she couldn’t find a company that matched up to her high expectations of quality care, delivered by dedicated and committed staff.
Vicky then decided to set up her own business providing care for others at the level she believed everyone was entitled to. She named the company after the hamlet her Grandmother had lived in, Broomfield in Kent.
At Broomfield Care, Vicky is supported by a hand-picked team of dedicated, committed and highly-skilled professionals.
Charlotte joined the team as Deputy Manager in September 2021, and immediately loved the welcoming spirit of the team. Since then, Charlotte has been promoted to Care Manager, in 2023.
Charlotte has been developing her experience within the care sector since she left school at 18, specialising in dementia, end of life and elderly care. She enjoys the variety of people she interacts with on a day-to-day basis, making everyday very different! She is especially proud of the level of care we provide, promoting person-centred care and independence within ones home.
I now work full time for Broomfield Care where I can use my experience and training.
I really enjoy working at Broomfield care due to the variety of service users and love the role of helping people.
Louise has been working in the care sector for over 20 years, with experience in both nursing homes and domiciliary care. Louise is responsible for creating and reviewing care plans, as well as dealing with day-to-day queries from our staff and clients.
“I have worked for Broomfield Care since October 2022, and it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. The staff are friendly, happy and caring, and we all work as a team to help each other out. I love my job here at Broomfield care- I find it rewarding knowing I’m making a difference to our service users’ lives.”
Jess has worked in care for the last 10 years, starting off in the community, and then working in a nursing home, before moving to Broomfield Care after having her first child.
Jess is currently responsible for the onboarding of all of our care staff and making sure everyone is fully equipped with the knowledge required to be an empathetic, supportive, and effective carer. She’s also responsible for hosting regular staff training sessions and 1-to-1 meetings to guarantee our carers have a fair opportunity to develop their skills and care careers.
“I adore the job that I do and being able to bring a smile and a giggle to people who I care for; it’s what makes my job so enjoyable to do- it’s lovely to be part of such a passionate, supportive team.”
Nicolina is the newest addition to our team and is responsible for dealing with any queries that come in over the day, from either clients or carers, as well as monitoring the rota and care plans of our clients.
“My name is Nicolina, and I’m very excited to be joining the Broomfield Care team.
I’ve been working in the care sector for over six years, and throughout that time I’ve gained a great deal of experience and confidence. I have a real passion for community-based care—what I enjoy most is supporting our elderly clients with the compassion and respect they deserve, while also giving their families peace of mind.”
Sharon is one of our longest-standing members of the team and has worked in a variety of roles at Broomfield Care.
Currently, Sharon is responsible for organising our staff and client rotas, designing the schedules for onboarding service users, and answering any rota-related queries. She is one of the most significant members of our team, ensuring that the day-to-day care operations are running smoothly.
