I was very happy with the care received and only discontinued it because I moved into a care home nearer to my family, but have fond memories of my carers and felt that the staff were friends as well as carers.
My 95 year old father used the care service. He was always full of praise for the carers that visited he found them all to be friendly, polite, helpful and efficient and treated him with respect. He never had any cause to complain and was very happy with the service which was less worry for me.
Mum's carers were always efficient, cheery and kind. I was confident that they were doing their best for Mum and she was always pleased to see them. They were good at encouraging Mum to try even if she wasn't keen i.e. washing herself, getting around the house etc.
Oh, I am tearing my hair out - sweat running down my cheeks - words fail me, perhaps if, what I say, when I say - oh drop her. Broomfields are a well-established firm for carers, so what, I'll be sensible. They have been carers for me personally and my late husband. Several years, it's my pleasure to be able to recommend their cheerfulness, but you can rely on their arriving on the scheduled time, bringing their willingness and ability to do all that is necessary for a good carer.
Broomfield has been supporting family members for several years. Very reliable. Only negative would be the number of different carers in any one week. Would be better if only a few different carers were used for Mum as it confuses her.
Broomfield was absolutely fantastic in helping Mum live independently with support for her last year, following a fall. Staff were kind, helpful and cheerful and Mume enjoyed their visits. They treated her with respect and affection. As I live 100 miles away it was possible to share Mum's care with them, so on days when I was there she only needed a morning visit. This was nice for everyone.
All the staff were caring, professional and proactive in supporting her needs. They were attentive and had a good rapport with mum (94) and family. I felt comfortable leaving my mother knowing she would be safe and well cared for.
Most importantly mum was happy to have them in her home.
Broomfield Care Home Care Services provided excellent care to my father in what were sometimes challenging circumstances. The staff had a very positive attitude and always did their best to meet his needs.
My concern is that I have had a carer which I find has not been able to satisfy my needs with my speech problem, it has been frustrating that I have not been heard even after several attempts. (9/1/18) I know that it can be difficult for some carers to understand but it can be harder still for anyone with a hearing difficulty.
The staff have been excellent always friendly, calm, caring and compassionate. They always treated mum and dad with respect and dignity.
I am quite happy with the carers who come to me. They are always polite and on time although I realise that this would be difficult and another thing I would like a later slot to be put to bed 7pm is rather early!! However, all in all I am very happy with the carers.
Nothing was too much trouble for them. I would certainly use their services again and would be happy to recommend them to friends/family.
The care my husband received was very professional, caring, kind and considerate nothing is too much trouble. The love and concern was beyond measure not only to my husband but also to me. I was always informed of everything and advised of what might help me with the care. Any time I asked a question they found the time to talk to me. To me, they were my friends. I miss my husband more than anything in the world but I also miss the carers smiling faces.
Some calls arranged in an emergency at very short notice which helped us immensely.
Mother always happy with her carers.
Care was always person-centred and put mum at the centre of any decisions made and she really looked forward to each visit. She thought very highly of all of her ‘girls’.
Broomfield care looked after my mum for over 2 years until she died in June 2017.
I found them very supportive and caring with looking after her. Which also helped me knowing she was safe and happy.
They also helped me with any meeting (and advice) with social care and organised help/care needed from her GP and the district nurses. This all meant that mum could be where she wanted in her own home. Mum got used to the lovely staff at Broomfield coming in to help and whilst it wasn't the same carers every day, mum felt happy and safe with the team involved.
Broomfield Care came with a recommendation and over a two year period helped with his bathroom needs and continued until and beyond the point he needed palliative care.
He warmed to all Broomfield's carers and so did we. Without exception, they arrived on time, were dedicated and cheerful. We could not have expected more from them.
Excellent service.
Highly professional, respectful, caring, warm and friendly.
All the staff were warm and compassionate with mum and enabled her to stay safely at home for longer than we hoped. They were kind and supportive with my sister and I too.

Meet the Team (7)
Vicky Hall, the owner of Broomfield Care, has over 20 years of experience at the sharp end of care. She has provided care and support in a variety of different roles, from working with vulnerable adults and children in care to working in care homes for the elderly and for people with learning disabilities.
Vicky established Broomfield Care at the beginning of 2008. Shortly before this her Grandmother had become older and needed additional support. However, when Vicky tried to organise home care for her, she couldn’t find a company that matched up to her high expectations of quality care, delivered by dedicated and committed staff.
Vicky then decided to set up her own business providing care for others at the level she believed everyone was entitled to. She named the company after the hamlet her Grandmother had lived in, Broomfield in Kent.
At Broomfield Care, Vicky is supported by a hand-picked team of dedicated, committed and highly-skilled professionals.
Charlotte joined the team as Deputy Manager in September 2021, and immediately loved the welcoming spirit of the team. Since then, Charlotte has been promoted to Care Manager, in 2023.

She enjoys the variety of people she interacts with on a day-to-day basis, making everyday very different! She is especially proud of the level of care we provide, promoting person-centred care and independence within ones home.

She’s also responsible for hosting regular staff training sessions and 1-to-1 meetings to guarantee our carers have a fair opportunity to develop their skills and care careers.
