All staff are very good. Obviously, some are very special but no duff ones.
Broomfield Care was recommended to me by a friend and I would, in turn, recommend the company to anyone who has the need of personal care.
After such a short time it is difficult to assess, but so far satisfactory.
All carers are very respectful and focus on Mum. She is now very fond of some of them. I am looking to increase the hours and undoubtedly I will want Broomfield to help. The office team are always very helpful and understanding at difficult times too.
Staff friendly, caring and efficient. Lovely to hear that cheery good morning as carers come in on the morning.
The staff were flexible, happy to do whatever needed doing on each visit. They were good at handling dad, both physically and psychologically.
My elderly Aunt, who lived in Shurdington, was very independent. She loved her home in which she had lived for about 40 years. She had had a healthy life, but at the age of 92, she started to decline rapidly, and could no longer look after herself. She was determined to stay in her own home. I discovered Broomfield on this website and talked to the Care Manager - an excellent decision. Broomfield put in place a care plan, and we adjusted this as my Aunts needs grew steadily greater.
The Broomfield carers were superb - friendly, supportive, efficient, thoughtful, reliable, and supremely professional. They communicated exceptionally well with my Aunt who grew very fond of them, with the NHS staff involved, and with me as Next of Kin. They were with her at her very end, and I am eternally grateful to them.
My only regret is that my Aunt and I didn’t talk to Broomfield a couple of years before her decline set in. I’m sure she would have benefited hugely from their service.
Excellent service for my disabled son.
The carers were better than ever and the organisation splendid.
All the care workers are very good and very helpful.
The staff at Broomfield Care Home Care Services help me to keep my independence. I have always received friendly, professional and helpful service from the staff. They always arrive with a cheery greeting and nothing is too much trouble for them to undertake. All the staff including those I have spoken to on the phone are the most helpful, polite patient, caring and responsive to varying situations. I am always treated with respect and I look forward to their visits.
I have always found the girls friendly and caring but not very good at making the bed.
Very pleased with everyone and everything.
My neighbour was cared for over the period of 2 years and was very happy with the girls despite her dementia and difficult periods before she was taken into care.
I have found my regular carer most helpful and considerate especially these last few months since my wife died. I have personally recommended the company to my friends. The relief carers (when my regular carer was ill) has been equally competent.
The staff are very pleasant and helpful. They are willing to help and ask you if you need anything.
Broomfield Care is a fantastic, small, friendly local company. The staff are second to none and I have never had any cause for complaint. They have supported my parents in their home as well as me in mine, and I have recommended them to several friends.
The care received from Broomfield Care was top quality in terms of professionalism, level of care, timeliness. Respect for both my aunt and us. Nothing was too much trouble and they allowed us to take time out knowing she would be safe in their hands. They would always try to accommodate us when we could only give short notice. A first class company.
I would have absolutely no hesitation in stating that Broomfield should be considered everyone's 'Carer of Choice'.
Attentive and caring staff. Prompt and communicative. Excellent support from the administrative staff.

Meet the Team (7)
Vicky Hall, the owner of Broomfield Care, has over 20 years of experience at the sharp end of care. She has provided care and support in a variety of different roles, from working with vulnerable adults and children in care to working in care homes for the elderly and for people with learning disabilities.
Vicky established Broomfield Care at the beginning of 2008. Shortly before this her Grandmother had become older and needed additional support. However, when Vicky tried to organise home care for her, she couldn’t find a company that matched up to her high expectations of quality care, delivered by dedicated and committed staff.
Vicky then decided to set up her own business providing care for others at the level she believed everyone was entitled to. She named the company after the hamlet her Grandmother had lived in, Broomfield in Kent.
At Broomfield Care, Vicky is supported by a hand-picked team of dedicated, committed and highly-skilled professionals.
Charlotte joined the team as Deputy Manager in September 2021, and immediately loved the welcoming spirit of the team. Since then, Charlotte has been promoted to Care Manager, in 2023.
Charlotte has been developing her experience within the care sector since she left school at 18, specialising in dementia, end of life and elderly care. She enjoys the variety of people she interacts with on a day-to-day basis, making everyday very different! She is especially proud of the level of care we provide, promoting person-centred care and independence within ones home.
I now work full time for Broomfield Care where I can use my experience and training.
I really enjoy working at Broomfield care due to the variety of service users and love the role of helping people.

I love my job here at Broomfield care- I find it rewarding knowing I’m making a difference to our service users’ lives.”
Jess has worked in care for the last 10 years, starting off in the community, and then working in a nursing home, before moving to Broomfield Care after having her first child.
Jess is currently responsible for the onboarding of all of our care staff and making sure everyone is fully equipped with the knowledge required to be an empathetic, supportive, and effective carer. She’s also responsible for hosting regular staff training sessions and 1-to-1 meetings to guarantee our carers have a fair opportunity to develop their skills and care careers.
“I adore the job that I do and being able to bring a smile and a giggle to people who I care for; it’s what makes my job so enjoyable to do- it’s lovely to be part of such a passionate, supportive team.”
Nicolina is the newest addition to our team and is responsible for dealing with any queries that come in over the day, from either clients or carers, as well as monitoring the rota and care plans of our clients.
“My name is Nicolina, and I’m very excited to be joining the Broomfield Care team.
I’ve been working in the care sector for over six years, and throughout that time I’ve gained a great deal of experience and confidence. I have a real passion for community-based care—what I enjoy most is supporting our elderly clients with the compassion and respect they deserve, while also giving their families peace of mind.”
Sharon is one of our longest-standing members of the team and has worked in a variety of roles at Broomfield Care.
