This is our first experience of carers visiting my mother on a 2 x day basis and we find ourselves very impressed, not only with the team who visit but with support from the office-based team.
The whole approach to Mum's care has been friendly, supportive and entirely professional.

Since cancer treatment, carers have been very kind and caring, the office also checked on me. This was very thoughtful. Staff also checked my wife was managing ok.

The care services from Care South were good and the carers were friendly and did their work carefully and effectively.
Timing of the four visits each day was uncertain and this was a little difficult for the family to work around.

When I came home from hospital following a stroke I was barely able to butter a piece of toast, but with the encouragement of my carer I am now 3 weeks later able to prepare food for myself They gave me strength to reach these goals.

At 90 years of age, our main concern in that we can stay in our own home and Care South provides the help that we need to do this. The care assistants are kind and understanding and bring sunshine within our home.

Having called upon Care South to help me. after being discharged from hospital at short notice. Requiring daily visits to assist with washing etc. From the initial meeting to my termination found the service second to none, everyone I had pleasure of meeting were friendly and extremely helpful.

Care South are such a great support to my wife, who has dementia and myself. They do not mind what they have to do and everything is accomplished with kindness and care. They are on absolute godsend and I would be lost without them. I have no hesitation is recommending the company whole heartedly.

The service I receive is adequate to my needs. I mostly have a 7 am visit, but there are times, especially at the weekends when I don't know when a carer will turn up. I am not always informed about any change. This is frustrating, as staff seem to have time off at a minute's notice. This is not a way
to run a business. More staff are needed. It seems so many of the staff do not want to work weekends.

I embarked on my career in the care industry in 2006 and have since gained extensive experience across a range of care settings, including domiciliary care, residential care, supported living, and patient transport services.


Throughout my career, I have held several senior leadership roles, including Registered Manager, Operations Manager, and Regional Manager. I have worked closely with teams to ensure compliance with CQC standards, support HR functions, oversee training programmes, manage accounts, and contribute to marketing strategies. My operational and strategic expertise has enabled me to consistently deliver high-quality services while maintaining the highest standards of care.


In addition to these roles, I have served as Executive Manager and Business Development Manager, where I focused on driving growth and operational efficiency within the organisation. I also undertook an interim role as Regional Director, leading regional teams through periods of transition and ensuring continued success during these times.


In 2022, I transitioned into the role of Operations Support Manager at Care South at Home, where I played a pivotal part in driving operational improvements and supporting team development. By 2025, I was honoured to take on the position of Head of Care at Home and Care Manager for the Somerset and West Dorset service. In this capacity, I lead a dedicated team of professionals, always ensuring that the well-being of those we support is at the forefront of everything we do, and continuously striving to improve the quality of our services.


I am passionate about creating an environment where clients receive the care they deserve, and where teams feel supported and empowered to deliver exceptional care. With over 19 years of experience in the sector, I remain focused on maintaining high standards, enhancing service delivery, and leading with integrity and compassion, always ensuring compliance with CQC regulations and delivering care that meets or exceeds regulatory standards.
