I have excellent care from my carers. They have been coming to see me for a long time. I look at them as not only my carers but also my friends. I go on shopping trips which I thoroughly enjoy. They make sure the house is clean and tidy. I look forward to seeing them every day.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review. It is very nice to hear how much of a difference staff are making and how much you enjoy their visits. I will be sure to pass this on to the team.

I started my career in the care sector in 1995, working in a nursing home for over 10 years. During this time, I progressed from Care Assistant to Senior Carer, gaining extensive hands-on experience in delivering high-quality, person-centred care and supporting residents with a wide range of needs.
I then moved into residential care, where I worked as a Lead Carer across two linked homes. In this role, I developed strong leadership and mentoring skills whilst ensuring high standards of care and support were consistently maintained. In 2010, I joined Care South as a Supervisor. Through dedication and continued professional development, I progressed to become a D2A (Discharge to Assess) Specialist Team Supervisor, supporting individuals transitioning from hospital settings and promoting independence through safe discharge planning.
I later advanced into the role of Deputy Manager, where I continued to build on my leadership experience by supporting staff teams, maintaining compliance and quality standards, and ensuring compassionate, person-centred care was delivered at all times.I have now been promoted to Manager for the Somerset and West Dorset Service, where I continue to lead and support teams in delivering high-quality care within the community, whilst promoting dignity, independence, and positive outcomes for the people we support
