My dad has been attending the Caremark day sessions at a local football club. He's really enjoyed himself at these sessions - particularly with the carers who have been very attentive to his needs and have done their very best to make him smile.

The service that Caremark provide to my children is 100%. The carers are amazing and have brought our children on a long way. The carers do a lot of outdoor and indoor activities with the children, and it’s working really well. The children have really taken to the carers also, the carers are always professional in everything they do. The office staff are always very helpful if we ever have any queries about anything - our problems are always sorted out very professionally and sorted virtually straight away too.

Some days when his mobility is particularly bad, they need to have extra patience and understanding, which has never been a problem. I really don't know how we would manage without them.

Have been with Caremark for 18 months now and have found them to be very caring and efficient. The carers are wonderful and are more like friends. I have been mostly housebound since leaving hospital and would have become very depressed without their visits to cheer me up and take care of me.

Caremark provides a three-hour sitting service three times a week, plus a one-hour bathing call for my mother. The company also provides a weekly rota of staff, who are attending that week - though carers are swapped/changed regularly. Sadly, each week we often have different carers, most of whom, are very young and often struggle to engage and communicate with my mother over such a long period. However, they are positive and caring, and the only issue is my mother reports several sit with their mobile phone rather than engage with Mum.
All issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. Still, they should communicate with me prior to contacting social services. I've found this very odd, to be honest. Other than that, all good. Dad seems to have adjusted now to being woken up.
I would like a constant team of people. I do not like people entering my house that I do not know. Since we joined Caremark, we have enjoyed three people who come to the house, in particular. We do not like it when the rota is changed and some one else comes. I think we should be notified when some different carer will be arriving.
Due to my contracting COVID, I have had to request more care for my mother - namely tea time calls. This was dealt with professionally and promptly. It has had a massive impact on myself, as I haven't needed to worry about her, her medications or her evening meal. And she has been happy too. We have used Caremark for many years now and appreciate all their hard work and care, especially during the pandemic.

My mum has had carers since last year, if it wasn't for this company supporting my sister and me, we would not be able to look after our mum at home. Nothing seems to be too much for them. All of the carers are efficient, caring, professional and respectful of Mum's needs. I would not hesitate to recommend this care company to friends and family.

The care workers we have are reliable and look after my daughter well. This gives me the opportunity to relax, catch up on jobs in the home and spend some time with my youngest daughter, who likes to be involved and assist the care workers, especially during teatime and weekend calls.
Should we have any queries, I find they are always responded to promptly, and any problems or issues we have are resolved effectively.

Charles opened Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) in 2008, with the vision to become the best provider of home care in the region. The focus is on delivering the highest quality of care possible in order to improve the quality of life for the people Caremark (Redcar & Cleveland) supports.
Michelle originally joined Caremark (Redcar and Cleveland) as a Care and Support Worker and then Compliance Coordinator, before being promoted to the role of Care Coordinator, then Care Manager and now Managing Director where has been playing an instrumental role in advocating for a better deal for carers nationally, on TV and radio.
Danielle joined Caremark as a Care and Support Worker in 2010. She was soon promoted to Field Care Supervisor and Care Plan Coordinator, then Assistant Manager, In 2021, she was promoted to the position of Care Manager, giving her responsibility for all aspects of the day-to-day running of the company.
