I can not thank and praise this home care service enough. The care my auntie receives from all the carers especially from the care assistant has been amazing, they are not just carers they are also friends. They have supported us and my aunt through a difficult time and not living near to my aunt I
have peace knowing that CRG Homecare are caring for her. Thanks also to the management team for their support and understanding.

This is not a care provider I would recommend.
No clear guidance on times the carer can arrive and leave.
My dad's lunchtime was scheduled for 1.30pm. But lunchtime visit was getting earlier and earlier to the extent of it being done at 11am! Tea time scheduled for 5.30pm, known to have it at 4pm!
Only
ironed shirts. Bedding folded and put away. I took them home to be ironed properly.
Out of date food left in the fridge. Food left uncovered and not wrapped in cling film. My Dad served a bread roll with green mould on.
Dining table covered in crumbs, never wiped. Carer rushed all tasks and forgot to put things back in their original place. My dad is blind.
Consent form not completed to take my dad's card to withdraw cash. Docs in file incorrectly completed.
Those who did my dad's lunch and tea times visits, my dad liked. These staff I felt were overstretched and worked hard. I reported numerous concerns, but felt wasn't interested. No information was provided on how the service is to be provided.

Inspection ratings
We rate most services according to how safe, effective, caring, responsive and well-led they are, using four levels:
Outstanding - the service is performing exceptionally well.
Good - the service is performing well and meeting our expectations.
Requires improvement - the service isn't performing as well as it should and we have told the service how it must improve.
Inadequate - the service is performing badly and we've taken enforcement action against the provider of the service.
No rating/under appeal/rating suspended - there are some services which we can't rate, while some might be under appeal from the provider. Suspended ratings are being reviewed by us and will be published soon.
Ticks and crosses
We don't rate every type of service. For services we haven't rated we use ticks and crosses to show whether we've asked them to take further action or taken enforcement action against them.
There's no need for the service to take further action. If this service has not had a CQC inspection since it registered with us, our judgement may be based on our assessment of declarations and evidence supplied by the service.
The service must make improvements.
At least one standard in this area was not being met when we inspected the service and we have taken enforcement action.
