I can't praise the individual carers and team that look after my soon to be 90 year old mum. She recently broke her wrist in a fall and has needed more care to continue to live independently at home, without the compassion and help given by Complete Care West Yorks her staying at home would not have been possible. Generally, the care provided by Complete Care is very good. They do involve me in decisions regarding what I want and my opinion. I look forward to chatting with them each morning as they help me get shaved, washed and dressed. I am very happy with the quality of companionship care, which I have once a week. We often go for a local walk, or if the weather is poor, we do my exercises, taught to me by my physiotherapist. I enjoy playing dominoes and painting, so we often do that during her call. I look forward to her visits and am pleased that I see the same carer each week, except when she is on holiday.

I've been receiving Care from Complete Care about 18 months they have a very high standard of care Professional at all times very respectful extremely caring treat with dignity very respectful of my home. Ask lots of questions to make sure they do everything as I like it. Offer other options as in food suggest different things to try. Always changing there gloves. Complete Care West Yorkshire Ltd have been providing care for my elderly mother for several years now. The level of care has been increased as needed & this has enabled my mother to remain in her own home. She does not wish to move to a care home & would find this very stressful. As my mothers needs have increased, Complete Care have stepped up to accommodate her requirements & have always demonstrated genuine care & compassion for which my mother & I are very grateful. After my aunt experienced a fall, we needed temporary care to support her recovery at home. My aunt is a very private and independent person, so we were initially concerned about how she would adjust to having carers around. However, the team exceeded all our expectations.
From the outset, the carers treated my aunt with warmth, dignity, and respect. They were not only attentive to her physical needs but also incredibly sensitive to her desire for privacy. Their professionalism and compassion quickly put her at ease, and it was clear they genuinely cared for her wellbeing.

Having no contact with my uncles carers other than administration, we have had no cause for concern since starting with Complete Care. They have always tried to accomadate his needs + timeframes, made difficult as it is a double care need family. I realise there is some resentment in having the need/cost of carers but the care provided has enabled the family to stay as a unit. I find it somewhat upsetting that he doesn't know the names of carers following a lengthy period of personal care - have never questioned if they actually wear name badges/introduce themselves. Although very difficult to achieve I feel he would benefit from more interaction.

I joined the Complete Care team in 2016 as a Care Coordinator. I wanted the opportunity to further my knowledge and skills as I am passionate about social care. In 2022 I was promoted to the role of Care Manager for the company.
I am committed to delivering quality, person-centred care, my focus is always on how we can improve the service. I ensure my entire team have high standards of quality care, by supporting them out in the community as well as in the office. I work hard to ensure staff and customer's needs are met through careful monitoring and supervision.
I understand the importance of continuous learning and development and share the same values as the company. As a result of my commitment to learning, I am currently working towards my level 5 qualification in Health and Social Care.
My passion is helping people and I am fortunate to have a fantastic team to help me provide such a great service, vital to our local community.
I joined the company in 2018 as a Community Care Worker, this was my first care position and I absolutely loved this role.
In 2019 I progressed to Buddy and then Team Leader in 2020. My current role is now Care Coordinator, overseeing the work of the Senior Team Leader and Team Leaders.
I am passionate about helping others in my local community and feel my role allows me to make a positive difference.
I love how rewarding working in social care is whilst working with a team of like-minded individuals, who are equally committed and share the same vision and values of the company.
I have always worked in care and began my career as a community care worker. After a short while I was promoted to Care Coordinator, this was a role I thoroughly enjoyed as I could ensure that the people i supported out in the community received the best possible care. I was responsible for managing and leading a team of twenty staff. It was during this time that I achieved my level 4 in Health and Social Care.
After Complete Care won the tender for Kirklees I was part of a team that transferred across to the company in 2011. I was the Kirklees Coordinator for Mirfield and then Denby Dale. Since joining Complete Care in 2011 I have been a finalist in the Care Awards no less than three times and even won the Regional Award for care coordinator in 2015. I loved my role as Coordinator but was attracted to the role of trainer and manual handling facilitator within the company. Complete Care identified my skills as a trainer, which led me to complete a training qualification in manual handling. I am now the sole trainer for Complete Care using my experience and knowledge to train others.

I joined the team as a Community Care Worker back in 2018. I had never done care before but immediately fell in love with my role. I love helping others and get a great sense of pride knowing I have made a difference. As a result of my passion, I was made 'Buddy' and then went on to become a senior team leader.
I am currently working towards my NVQ 3 in Health and Social Care. I have built a wealth of experience and focused on developing my skills further.
I love what I do and cannot imagine doing anything else.
I enjoy helping others which is why I chose to work in social care. Since joining the team, I have built up my confidence to progress from 'buddy' to Team Leader. Helping new starters that are new to care is a great experience, I love to tell people how rewarding it is to work in social care and show them how we make a positive difference.
