Couldn’t fault the caregivers that go to see my dad they are so nice, nothing is ever too much. Now gives me a little respite knowing he’s well cared for, thank you Home Instead, I know I call them if I have any issues at all, it’s amazing how much care work can be done in one hour. I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. Need a care company for your relatives then look at Home Instead, wished we had known about them earlier.
Thank you Heather for your kind words and pleased that we can make life a little easier for you as well as your Dad.
Home Instead Senior Care have listened to our needs in a caring, supportive and professional manner. They go out of their way to ensure duty of care is at a high standard. The staff are efficient, live locally which is a positive for us and the office can be contacted with any queries or questions we may have about care. We all work as a team. Thank you to everyone for your commitment and excellent service.
Thank you for your kind words Roxanne, it is our pleasure to support your mum.
I use Home Instead Senior Care (Richmond) to help support my mum live as independently as possible. The companionship visits are great providing helpful interaction opportunities and the service provides great support for help in attending appointments and arranging more regular visits if I am not available. Having the Home Instead Senior Care team available to help provides significant reassurance to my mum.
Thank you for taking the time to respond Teresa, very much appreciated and our pleasure to support your mum.
My Mother, aged 93, has been using the services of Home Instead for around 5 years following her breaking her hip. She enjoys the caregiver's visits and all the different skills and support they can offer. Whether they take her for a walk, do her shopping, washing her clothes or cleaning her home. She enjoys hearing about their different lives and sharing hers. The Home Instead office is excellent in responding to any queries she or we might have as well as making sure that my Mum is happy over the many years she has used Home Instead. Therefore we could not recommend them more highly.
Thank you for taking the time to provide this reference Sally-Ann, very much appreciated and we are very pleased to be able to support your mum.
They have been amazing from the start - providing perfect and tailored care for my mother (following a stroke) allowing her to live independently and filling her children with the reassurance that she is in very good hands.
The four ladies who look after my mother make an impressive team. They are positive, kind and caring, respond to her needs and are keen to help in any way they can.
We are also very impressed with the Home Instead management team who are communicative, thoughtful and responsive to my mother's needs. They keep in touch to check that all is well and to see if there is anything else they could do to help.
I highly recommend Home Instead.
Thank you so much for your kind words Alex, it is a pleasure to be able to help your mother.
When looking for carers for our elderly friend Home Instead Richmond was highly recommended to us. From day one we were so impressed. The carers who attended my friend were always punctual, extremely pleasant and efficient. Our friend took to them immediately which was a relief as she was unhappy about having carers. What also helped was that where possible the same carers attended our friend which meant she was able to get to know them. The carers were, with no exception, delightful people, and always prepared to go the extra mile. It was no problem contacting the management when necessary. Also, someone came regularly to see our friend, to reassess her and her needs. Up till now, I had been trying to look after my friend while living with and caring for my own elderly Mum. The carers lightened my load considerably, liaised with me, and it was such a huge relief to know that our friend was in good and capable hands at all times.
Thank you so much for your kind words Sue, it was a pleasure to be able to help.
In caring for my uncle I have always found HomeInstead at Richmond to be reliable, caring, proactive and very professional. They have been very responsive to changes required in the care programme and they provided overnight care-givers at very short notice when required. In particular, during the coronavirus lockdown, the service has been uninterrupted and seamless. I would highly recommend the company to anyone who is looking for high-quality carers.
Thank you so much for your kind words Garry, it is a pleasure to look after your uncle.
I acted as Attorney for a gentlemen with an extremely aggressive form of dementia. The team at Home Instead were priceless in dealing with the gentleman concerned in a professional and friendly manner.
James, many thanks for your kind words. Your accessibility and speed of response made it all the easier for us to provide a highly effective service.
Home Instead has provided a very reliable and professional service for my 92-year-old dad who has been reluctant to accept outside help before. We are hoping to gradually increase his care visits as he needs and allows! We have had to alter times of care on several occasions due to hospital appointments, but they have been very flexible with us. Lovely people.
The staff who organise the rotas are also very efficient, and when I have to make changes to the rota, I always know they are on top of the situation.
Many thanks for your kind words Nicky, we really appreciate you taking the time to submit this.
My 94-year-old mother who lives independently at her flat and required some additional support after breaking her hip in December 2019. I approached the local branch of Home Instead to talk through with them what kind of support services could be provided and when these would be available (bearing in mind that Christmas was rapidly approaching). Right from the initial conversation, and then follow-up conversations, an introductory visit and then provision of the actual service, I have been extremely impressed by the friendliness and thoughtful advice given. No pressure to take on services not yet needed, but very helpful offer to develop tailored services if and when needed.
My mother has been delighted with her carer and the personal care provided.
So, genuinely impressed by the approach that this firm takes and the service offered. As soon as the coronavirus constraints have ended, I will be strongly encouraging a further family member to seek support from this firm.
Thank you so much for your kind words, Hugh. We'd be delighted to help any member of your family if we can.
The Richmond Home Instead team have transformed the lives of both my Dad and I.
My Dad was initially very reluctant to have a carer and he took some persuasion just to try the service for a few days. What a difference those few days and the last few months have made. Dad's Home Instead carer visits are now a highlight of his day and he describes his carer as "top notch!".
We have found everyone at Home Instead to be very compassionate and caring, but also highly professional and proactive in suggesting things we can do to improve my Dad's life. My only regret is not managing to convince my Dad to try Home Instead earlier.
Thank you, Stuart, for your kind words. It is so lovely to hear this feedback, this is why we do what we do! It is a privilege and a pleasure to help your dad and I know his CAREGiver really enjoys her visits with him.
I support 2 main principles that they maintain. Minimum service being one hour and staff being mainly middle aged. This provides a more experienced and sympathetic service in a relaxed atmosphere. In my opinion, the total charge should be limited to twice whatever the caring staff are paid.
Home Instead look after all the "staffing" needed to allow you to keep your loved one in their home. Home Instead caregivers provide personal and home care duties, prompting medicine, assistance with dressing, food preparation, company and friendship. Their team of caregivers are friendly attentive and professional taking a holistic approach to each client and their individual needs.
Carers are punctual, reliable, kind, caring, helpful, knowledgeable re client's condition - friendly and cheerful.
My husband, who has dementia and can be tricky immediately formed a good relationship with the carer - selected by Home Instead to what they thought would be a good match and it was a life changer for me.
The agency provided companionship, domestic help and help with bathing to my mother over 17 months until January 2017. The agency was very helpful in providing carers initially first at weekends for a few hours per day, but then extending this to twice daily, visits of an hour each time. The carers are kind, efficient and very helpful and caring towards my 95-year-old mother. They showed much consideration towards her wellbeing and were good communicators with us when there was something that we needed to be alerted to. Healthwise, we would certainly recommend them.
The team at Home Instead demonstrate professionalism and compassion in caring for my parents. Communication was excellent. I recommend Home Instead unreservedly.
I have found Home Instead Senior Care very professional, easy to contact and very reliable, the carers they have supplied have all been great.
