Guardian Homecare (Blackpool)

I am in the unfortunate position whereby I need some assistance in the mornings. I arranged with the case handler who initially visited me and explained my situation. She was very sympathetic and listened and understood what was needed.
The carers that visit me in the mornings are wonderful, and cannot do enough for me even though I need very little help. I have managed to sneak a few small jobs into their visits, but not take advantage.
On the odd occasions when a carer has not arrived on time it has been necessary for me to call the office to enquire what time I can expect a visit, despite me asking time and again for regularity. The office staff tell you one thing but deliver another. I have lost count of the number of times I have left requests for someone to call me back, but that doesn't happen.

I feel sorry for the carers who are technically the face of this company. If a customer has a complaint then the carer gets it in the neck, rather than the office staff.

Brilliant carer helping me, very polite staff. Highly recommend this company for their staff and their professionalism.

The only criticism I have is that care in the community is now all charged for. That however is the fault of many capitalist governments. Viva la Socialist Revolution.
