and longer visits. Over the past few days, Mum's anxiety levels increased drastically to the point where it was obvious that she needed a live-in carer. Once more Home Helpers Care came to our rescue and an emergency live-in carer was found. In my opinion, they went above and beyond their duty. I am so very grateful to them. Elderly people are less likely to have access to internet banking and given that the only other option the care company offer is to pay by cheque, it makes it extremely difficult to keep up with payments, especially during the current COVID-19 pandemic when family members should be observing social distancing and therefore should not be making non-essential visits to their elderly relatives, such as to write and collect cheques from the family member who is the client.

time for a little chat and take care to know his interests while making conversation. They are always respectful and treat him with dignity.
All his carers know him well and are observant to any changes in his health or mood. I have asked them to call me with any concerns, which they do and I am so reassured by this. They don’t make a fuss but keep me well informed.
The office is well run and organised. They have a rota system for clients which reassures the client and family. Carers are kept to the same core group for the client which really matters.
After past experience with another company, I can honestly say Home Helpers Care are wonderful. As it says in the name, they CARE.
