Home Instead supported my grandmother at home with dementia for 2.5 years until she passed away. Thanks to their support, the carers and the office, we were able to keep her in her own home and avoid hospital admissions, which would have hastened her demise, which would surely have happened had she
been in a care home. Of course there were times when there were misunderstandings and glitches but on the whole things were well organised and the care team went above and beyond what they were required to do. Home Instead care is expensive but the carers are experienced and reliable and well-supported by their supervisors in the office. A core team worked from the early days until the end, so my grandmother was familiar with them as were we. We can only hope that service levels continue at this standard in a pressurised marketplace.

We just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the team and all the lovely ladies who visited and supported my father over the past 2 years.
It was not his wish to go into residential care and whilst his situation deteriorated to such that we could no longer avoid this, without doubt, everyone helped
hugely in allowing him to stay at home for as long as possible.
I have put 'don't know' for 'Value for money' purely because we did not try any other care providers to be able to make any comparisons and came straight to Home Instead after a recommendation from a friend.

Home Instead Sutton Coldfield have provided care for circa 2 years and continue to do so, for both my mother and father. They provide daily visits (2 hours) with a team of carers, all of whom are extremely helpful, thoughtful, supportive and professional. Their support helps to ensure my parents can
continue to live at home which is their wish and the family is appreciative of this.

Mum is extremely happy with her carers. Mum really enjoys the carers' company and looks forward to her visits every week. The carer understands mum and makes mum feel like a valued person, mum's spirits are always lifted after her visits. Mum tells me how they have a sing along to the songs on the smart
speaker and have a lovely time. We sometimes have a 2-hour session where Mum and the carer go for coffee and Mum feels like she is with a good friend and enjoys her time out with the carer. Mum has a regular carer but also will have other carers when her regular carer is on holiday - all carers have been kind and caring. Also a very efficient Admin Team. All-round excellent service - we are so lucky to have found Home Instead.

We are more than satisfied with the service provided. The company is able to accommodate our needs with the same known group of carers (so appreciated by my mother) and, when we request it, are able to provide more care on a random basis.
If there is any criticism, it would be the occasional breakdown
of communication between the office and us when, unexpectedly, the carer is delayed, reports this to the office, asks for us, the clients, to be informed, but it doesn’t always happen. To be fair, in our situation, it’s manageable, but a courtesy call would be appreciated. But overall, we are more than satisfied.

Without the care provided by Dad's regular carers, he could not remain in his own home, which is what he wants.
He (and they) share fun and laughter as well as provide the care he needs.
When we visit, we no longer spend our time cooking, cleaning, washing etc; we can actually spend time with Dad
- this is very important to us.
It also allows his family to continue to work.

We have carers come in every morning and evening during the week to help our Dad stay in his family home. All the carers and staff and Home Instead have been most helpful and supportive to Dad. always punctual, respectful and friendly - I certainly would recommend to anyone needing home care.

We cannot fault the care for Mom. I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead and in fact, I often do. Each of the 4 main carers are so kind, friendly and professional. I trust each of them implicitly. Nothing is too much trouble and most importantly Mom is very fond of them all too. We like that
they stay for an hour after having previous agencies dash in and out. 100% recommend.

I would highly recommend Home Instead (Sutton Coldfield). They were extremely helpful from the moment you picked up the phone. Always willing to help the care was second to none. Fabulous caring staff attended 4.5 hours a day and even slept over. They even helped me when it was decided that my aunt
needed to be in a home a very difficult time but best for her. I couldn’t find any faults! Worth every penny!

I have been incredibly impressed with the care team and admin staff at Home Instead during the 5 years they have helped my father. As a doctor, I come across many care staff and Home Instead are the best by far. Throughout the 5 years that they helped look after my father they have always been so very
caring, respectful, kind and friendly. Dad always praised their cooking and loved their company. Once Dad could no longer carry out his own personal care they took the trouble to do everything just as he wanted and were always gentle and very thoughtful. Once Dad became palliative the whole team were so compassionate - not only looking after him but also taking the trouble to support my sister and I. If you are looking for someone to provide the sort of care you would give your relative yourself then I couldn't recommend Home Instead Sutton Coldfield team more.

All the staff at Home Instead Senior Care (Sutton Coldfield) are outstanding. They are polite, professional, reliable and always go above and beyond what is expected. Between them they have made it possible for Dad to be able to stay in his own home and have built a lovely relationship with us, giving

The carers that visit Mom are extremely reliable, caring and consistent in the support they provide. They not only understand Mom's needs and help her to stay safe and well, but they have also taken the time to get to know her really well so that she feels at ease with them. I can't tell you what a
difference it makes in helping Mom stay independent safely and gives us, as her children, peace of mind. I highly recommend Home Instead to anyone who is looking for support at home.

Home Instead provided 24-hour care for my mum whilst we went away for a few days. I cannot praise them enough for the quality of care all the caregivers provided. They were kind, respectful and caring and gave me total peace of mind. Nothing was too much trouble. I was able to read care notes online
for added security. I will definitely be using them again. Excellent!

My mom, who has Alzheimer's, was cared for by the Sutton Coldfield team for six months. They provided an outstanding level of care and service throughout, whilst offering understanding and expertise in dementia care. The care offered was flexible and tailored to my mom's needs and interests. Carers
were carefully chosen to meet my mom's needs. The carers were exceptional ladies, experienced, caring, compassionate, friendly, reliable and patient which enabled a strong and trusted relationship to grow between them and my mom. This provided me with great reassurance that Mom was being well looked after during every visit. The whole team was professional and as Mom's needs grew so did the level of support and care offered.
I cannot recommend this company enough; my mom was vulnerable and confused and reluctant to receive help at first, but the companionship, reassurance and care offered gave Mom valuable support in her time of need. Thank you Home Instead Sutton Coldfield, what an amazing company.

My mother and the rest of my family are extremely pleased with the service. The management team are excellent; thorough, extremely safety conscious, highly responsive to any enquiries. The carers employed by this company are all excellent. Very caring, compassionate and I feel they have become like
family members. Prior to care commencing for my mum, I was very anxious about the situation, however, the carers and management have all been excellent. As a nurse of 20 years experience, I would highly recommend this company and its team of carers.
