I asked Home Instead to visit when dad was in hospital for a prolonged period, leaving Mum on her own, she was post-stroke. I needed a reliable service and generally, this is what has been received during the week. Mum and Dad have consistent carers whom they have got to know and vice vera. It is rare
for the carer not to arrive although this has happened a couple of times.
Home Instead have strived to find replacements when this happens. Mum and Dad's weekend carers are generally good but don't give quite the same level of care. Home Instead communicate well with me as needed and provide me with a timetable. I have generally been very satisfied with their service.

Mum and Dad found it hard to keep on top of general housekeeping in their flat because of mobility issues. Home Instead Senior Care provide a carer/cleaner for 2 hourly sessions per week. The carer is invariably helpful and cheerful and has become as much a friend as a helper. They look forward to the
visits as a social event. I have been very pleased with the help and care shown to my parents.

- Well organised service/ cannot recommend this carer highly enough, she is a true friend.
- Easily contactable.
- Carer always punctual, always stays full time supposed to if not longer.
- Carer treats mom with dignity and respect.
- She is very friendly and caring and has got to know mom well.
Mom has severe dementia so this is really good as her carer can interpret moms requests and guide her to a better place mentally when distressed.
I have great peace of mind on days the carer visits as I know mom will be well looked after.
