I have daily visits (Mon - Fri) by a Home Instead carer from the Chester branch for an hour at lunchtime. They provide me with company, general help and prepare a cooked lunch for me. The same lady visits 4 days a week with occasional visits by other carers. They are always on time and very friendly.
We have been using Home Instead Senior Care (Chester) for a year now to provide companionship for my husband who has dementia. Our carer is always reliable and friendly. I have always found the office staff to be friendly and helpful.
I have been having help with personal care 4 mornings a week since July 3rd. After contacting the company I was visited by the manager to discuss my needs and what they could offer me. The company always sends someone to introduce a new carer which has been very helpful. They are all so lovely and friendly. Carers arrive on time and spend the full hour with me. I am assisted to shower in a dignified and caring way. My breakfast is prepared and served to me and my bed made. The kitchen and bathroom are left clean and tidy and clean laundry is put away. Only a few carers have visited over the last 4 months so we have got to know each other well and I look forward to their visits. I feel very lucky that I have found such an excellent agency. There isn't anything negative I can say about them and just wish I could afford to have them seven days a week.
Reliable, high quality care.
Looked after by, mostly, the same carer for nights to help me get sleep. Done in efficient and respectful manner, whilst maintaining a friendly atmosphere. All caring is very expensive and there must be lots of wives/husbands who cannot afford to get help.
Mum has been more than happy with the care she is getting. The staff are punctual and professional in attitude. The care they give is of a high standard. Mum feels very comfortable in their company and finds them all trustworthy.
My carer is a Godsend. She sets me up for the day. I look forward to her coming. She is very reliable.
We have been users of Home Instead services for eight years and have been completely satisfied. We are both in our nineties. We have had the same carer during the whole of this time who spends two hours each week cleaning the house. She is diligent, hardworking, trustworthy and cheerful. We look forward to her visits. On the occasions she has been unable to attend Home Instead has always offered a substitute but usually, we have managed without.
Carer to take me out for 2 hours; always look forward to her coming. Assists in taking me out. Very good. 100% trustworthy, enjoyable conversation. My choice as to what we do (weather dependant). My one opportunity mid week to have a walk - very valuable for me.
Personal care - once per week. Very good, feel very safe with her.
When cleaning surfaces, dusting or kitchen, they do not always return objects to their original positions. This can cause difficulties in finding them later.
The office staff, likewise, are helpful and friendly and will do their best to fit the staff into our life and routine.
Altogether a most helpful organisation, which makes my life, restricted as it is as carer to my wife.
My cleaner/carer is very efficient, always on time with a smile and ready for what is expected of her. Couldn't wish for anyone better.
As I continue my recovery from the hip operation, the help I am getting in the tasks of living alone in a house is working well and pleasantly, with the staff always ready to do more as necessary.
His carer is great, he provides my husband with companionship whilst ensuring he is kept safe and happy and I feel confident leaving my husband in his care.
I have found the company reliable, with any queries being dealt with quickly and professionally.
There are frequent regular reviews at which changes are noted and on-going needs discussed.
The staff members are friendly and accommodating and I would recommend the company without hesitation.
As we have developed a strong bond between our main carer over the last couple of years, this is an easy review. She has always been on time, pleasant, neatly dresses and caring. On a couple of occasions when we have needed extra care this has been provided quickly and efficiently.
Have received excellent service from Home Instead Senior Care (Chester). Timekeeping is very good compared to previous companies as is the overall standard of the staff. The staff spend time with my wife after completing their tasks and sometimes stay over their allotted time slots. We could not cope without this company and its employees.
We as a family are very happy with the service, the carer is a delight.
We are getting used to Home Instead care. The two carers attending most are excellent and have provided several very helpful tips of what we can expect from state benefits.
We are happy with the care offered by Home Instead, Chester for our parents. We were recommended to this company and, as the name suggests, it lives up to all expectations. We have found carers to be punctual, cheerful and willing to help in any way. Listening to our concerns and taking information on board to resolve a situation.
Where queries have arisen the management have dealt with issues efficiently. From day one, relations were formed and therefore we knew we were not, at any time, moving to another company for care.
I have always been very pleased with the service I have received. Staff have always been most helpful and cheerful and carry out their duties with great understanding as to what my needs are.
