They are easy to contact 24h, as you'd expect, and very responsive (I have written emails late at night and have received responses in minutes).

We have been using Home Instead for a number of months to help with my mother, who has dementia and had several falls. The carers are wonderful and really good with mum. The company is flexible and help as much as they can at short notice. I would definitely recommend them.

The Manager was so warm and friendly on the initial visit and that made me feel very confident. My point of contact in the office was also lovely and always around to speak to if needed. Home Instead gave care and support to my father for the last 18 months of his life. When my brother, who was caring for our father, was unexpectedly admitted to hospital we needed to find a care solution. We settled on Home Instead because they came across as not just professional, but as also wanting to try and provide care that genuinely suited the person being cared for. The way they provided care that changed with time and circumstances as my father became more frail and ill, was impressive. I was very touched by the number of Home Instead staff who came to my father's funeral.

Home Instead gave care and support to my mother who had dementia and mobility problems. They managed to provide compatible caregivers who got to know her daily routine and adapted to help her with her changing needs. The caregivers were very caring, considerate and became good friends and understood her dementia. The service was regularly reviewed. The family could trust the caregivers to work alone with my mother.

Home Instead first provided care to my husband in September 2018. They chose a wonderful man to look after him: so kind, thoughtful and full of care for his client. For six months my husband needed the help of one caregiver, then it became two before he was admitted to hospital where he sadly died. My initial contact with Home Instead was on a personal recommendation and I am delighted to endorse that recommendation. My beloved could not have received better care.

Following my mother's death, my dad has struggled living alone. One Carer, in particular, was extremely warm, friendly and professional in her manner and built a close relationship with my father, so much so, she read a reading at his funeral. However, not all the Carers were as thorough and one let me down, which led to a safety issue. Overall, however, a very good service provided.
