I contacted Home Instead Senior Care as I needed short term support after a right hand operation. Everyone I had any communication with was very professional and supportive and I felt completely safe in their hands. They were also very flexible as it was clear that I only needed short term support and that my needs will lessen during the period of care.
The manager came to do the assessment with me, to make sure all my needs were fulfilled and together we agreed that the carer would look after me for the 3 weeks following my operation. She was a delight to have around. Caring and with great sense of humour, we got on really well from the first day.
I would be more than happy to recommend Home Instead in general and my carer in particular to anyone needing care.

I requested support in getting in to and out of bath/shower. I had an excellent carer for five visits at the same time each day during that last fortnight in March. She also had time to sit and talk to me and on the last visit took me out for a walk. I have now regained my confidence and have started to drive. I am 82 and my husband died October 2015 after a long illness.

The staff at Home Instead are wonderful. They responded quickly to the change in my mother's needs and were very kind and reassuring to both of us. There was always a friendly voice on the telephone and the staff went out of their way to be helpful and supportive.
