Home Instead is a fantastic company. We started with them during Covid and they have been brilliant ever since. We now have help twice a day. The caregivers are so kind, really reliable and very appropriate. The office provides effective backup and are very professional. I really don't know what we would have done without them and I feel blessed that we found them. I could not recommend them too highly!
My wife has had three hospital stays in the last six months and Home Instead has always been ready for her homecoming. Carers have been put on standby and the company has been very helpful when the dates have been changed and plans altered. I have sent regular updates about my wife’s progress but it has to be noted that the office has always taken a great interest, and either rung me or emailed to find out more details.
Home Instead has maintained a high-quality service throughout all the years. I would recommend them to anyone and thank them wholeheartedly for their commitment to the well-being of my wife.
I appreciate the patience of the carers during that time and also being kept informed of any situations I needed to be aware of.
In general, I appreciate the input they give to make my mother’s life as fulfilling as possible.
Carers generally provided a good service for Dad. They give a dinner and make a sandwich for Dad's tea. They always communicate with Dad and give company to him. The company provide a stable 3/4 carers for dad which he appreciates and gives a consistency of service.
I am new to all this so have not any previous experience but have been reasonably impressed with the service so far and they do seem willing to help in whatever way they can to serve your needs.
Management is very accessible, understanding and friendly, making contact easy. Any requested changes in schedule are dealt with quickly. Monthly client newsletters are very informative and helpful and give the feeling of belonging to a family. I can't speak highly enough for my husband's carers; they not only do as much as possible for him but support me too, looking for ways to make things easier for both of us. A listening ear and friendly chat can be almost as important as personal care. Well done!
The care and support are still in their early days and both customer and staff relationships are being established. Staff have been very caring and adaptable to changing needs and in working with family members in the joint care of the customer.
All the staff I have had contact with are caring and helpful. They listen and act upon my needs. They notice if I am upset and offer sympathy and solutions but are not pushy.
An excellent service. All staff make us feel special. Always willing to help. We are so pleased we found Home Instead in our time of need.
I'm very happy with all Home Instead (South Sheffield).
The care I get from Home Instead is first class as are the carers it is a very happy position when you live alone. Thank you and best wishes to you all, thank you.
Since I have been with home Instead I have gained more confidence. My support professionals are really good. When contacting the office the always reply and let me know of any changes
Good service, happy about what is done.
Very happy with the help the carers are giving. Could not ask for anything better. Happy with the review and follow up.
Review went well, very straightforward. The lady who did the review was friendly and professional.
The call times are planned to suit her needs. Carers arrive with excellent punctuality with a consistent team of carers. Any new carers are always introduced in person by a member of the management team. All the carers are lovely and really do care about my mum.
The package is reviewed regularly and adjusted if any new or different care needs.
Home Instead stepped in and put in extra care when my mum became very anxious when we were on holiday.
I would thoroughly recommend this agency.
I do not have any previous experience of the type of service provided by Home Instead against which I can base my comparison - thus any comment relates to my own feelings. In general, I find the service provided to be in the overall category of "satisfactory to good". the staff adapt well to different situations and do their best to help one relax and feel at ease. They do this without losing a sense of dignity.
While we prefer to have a limited number of caregivers we realise the difficulties the firm have been working under with Covid and we appreciate that they always manage to provide the care we need at the time we expect.
Home Instead has excellent staff who care and are very professional. They are like a breath of fresh air for Mum, providing a friendly face and something different to talk about.
I am very happy with my carers.
