I had to arrange rehabilitation care for my mother who broke her hip whilst staying with me in Oxford over Christmas. This had to be done by surfing the net as my mother lives in Croydon, so I did not know where to look; this had to be arranged so that my mother could safely return home. I found Nightingales HomeCare online and they had a very good CQC report. I spoke to them on the phone and they efficiently arranged a home assessment and started her care within 24 hours; thus allowing my mum to go home. They have been efficient, caring, reliable and, all in all, my mother has recovered well with their support and help. I would highly recommend them.
We appreciate your positive feedback and your review means a great deal to us. The feedback we receive from our clients and family members allows us to continue to improve our products and services. It is our goal to provide the best service experience possible, and your kind words are greatly appreciated. Once again, I would like to thank you for your support.
Nightingales HomeCare, in particular the planning assistant manager, the assistant manager and one of the care supervisors, have been fantastic over the past year, providing appropriate care, sometimes at very short notice, to help my husband and me as his condition deteriorated and his needs increased. They listened to what was needed and tried to ensure someone who would be the best match was sent as cover. All were professional, hardworking and willing to do all they could to make things better or manageable for my husband, even when he was reluctant to be helped. That took real dedication. I can fully recommend Nightingales if you are looking for carers for your loved one.
Thank you for this lovely review. We will pass this on to the carers who were grateful to care for your husband. It was a pleasure caring for your husband and dealing with yourself. We wish you and your husband the best for the future.
Nightingales were excellent in all respects in their care for my sister (89). The women were efficient, compassionate, conversational, and often did little extra things unasked within their time limits. My sister loved them. The only reason we stopped was after she had a fall, was hospitalized for a while, and then had care from another social care - which involved a different and more distant agency until she moved to a residential care home. My sister, myself, and her closest friends all agree that Nightingales provided a superb service for which we remain very grateful and would recommend to others.
Hi Chris, Thank you for this review; we will make sure all carers are informed. It was a pleasure dealing with you and caring for your sister.
We used Nightingales for companionship (July 22 to February 23), day care (March 23) and live in care (September to October 23). They provided an excellent set of packages for my husband, were customer facing at all times and handled any minor queries we had speedily and effectively. The individual carers were skilled, kind, friendly and fitted in very well. Thank you very much.
Hi, thank you for your positive feedback. It was a pleasure working alongside you to care for you husband. We will pass this feedback on to the carers. We wish you all the best.
My aunt has used the services of Nightingales for a few years now and she has connected well with both staff and management, who treated her with dignity, respect and utter care. They also developed a personal relationship, serving her beyond expectations. We owe Nightingales our peace of mind where my aunt's care was concerned.
Hi. Thank you for this lovely review. We will pass this onto the carers and it was a pleasure to care for your auntie. If you need anything please do not hesitate to contact us. We wish you all the best.
I was impressed by the care your staff gave my husband, particularly the female carers who showed great empathy to both my husband and me. I would recommend Nightingales to anyone needing one-to-one care.
We wish you all the best for the future.
Excellent five star service. Nightingales were totally responsive to our needs, very professional in their approach, went above and beyond really. They can be totally recommended to look after your loved one. Our mother's final days were in very caring, kind and professional hands.
Hi and thank you for this review, it is lovely to see these reviews. It was a pleasure dealing with you and your mum. I will make sure this feedback is passed on to the carers. We wish you all the best in the future.
Carers are friendly and have built a good relationship with Dad over the years they have been visiting. Care has been very good, any issue that needed to be addressed has been sorted out quickly. Very pleased that we chose Nightingales HomeCare.
It was a pleasure looking after your dad I know the carers and the office staff had a lovely relationship with him. I will make sure I will pass this feedback on to the carers.
I was very happy with the service that I received. My carer was always available to provide help when it was required. As I was 'nil by mouth', the carer had to cook all her own food, as well as helping me. She did a lot of cleaning of my flat. We also sat together to watch some television in the evenings. She could not have been such a good carer for me. She was always there when I needed help.
Thank you for this positive feedback, it is lovely to hear. I will this feedback to the carer.
The home care provided for my mother especially following her fall, by both the office and the care lady, who was tasked to care for my mother, who has very bad dementia, was excellent. We originally started with just a morning attendance but decided to increase this to the evening as well. On all occasions, they were on time and extremely helpful and kind to my mother, which was very reassuring for both my Father and me. They were also very, very helpful and attentive with my mum when she fell and this care continued even after my mother had been taken to hospital by keeping in contact with us and making sure when she came out, their care program continued.
We appreciate the positive feedback you provided. It motivates us to work even harder and we really appreciate it. Your satisfaction with our services and quality of work is important to us.
My mother has used the Nightingale service at home for about 2 years now. We have had nothing but excellent support from them and any (very tiny) issues have been dealt with efficiently and promptly. They have been extremely flexible about the timings of visits around a period of hospital admissions. Highly recommended.
It is lovely to see this positive feedback. I will make sure the carers are aware of this.
If you need anything please feel free to contact us.
Even if he didn’t want anything done for himself just the chat with him made his day.
All the staff were very kind and understanding. I really appreciate their kindness to my Father.
It is lovely to hear this positive feedback I will make sure we will inform the carers of this.
Nightingales HomeCare has provided visiting carers for my mother for approximately one year. She has dementia and Nightingales was engaged after a very negative experience with another carer provider. That experience made me very cautious, supporting my mother choose another carer. I wish we had used Nightingales from the start. Some key strengths of Nightingales are: effective organisation arrangements, with all their office team being friendly, helpful and surprisingly cheerful, given some of the dramas my mother 'creates'; high standards for the carers, all of whom are positive and professional, never looking to do the minimum. In particular, you note this when there is a problem (fall, ill, confused) and they respond excellently; clear communication of updates, rota, invoices and a wonderful feedback app showing all the visit details promptly afterwards; a very flexible approach, with a phone which is answered 24/7 if there is a problem. Highly recommended. Worth every penny!
Thank you for the positive feedback, it is lovely to hear. I will make sure this is also passed on to the carers.
If we can do anything else for you and your mum please let us know, we will be happy to help.
As far as possible, my dad gets the same carer to visit him, so he knows her and feels comfortable. When it is not possible for her to come, the other staff are all very good and make him feel at ease.
The manager has been really good to me, always providing the cover I need, which allows me to have some time off, free from worry.
I would recommend anyone who needs support with caring to check out Nightingales.
Thank you for this lovely review. It is a pleasure to look after your dad and I will make sure to pass on this positive feedback to the carers.
The care manager is also very helpful and understanding, plus helps out when needed so, at present I am more than happy with the service my wife is receiving.
Thank you for your positive review we will make sure all carers know of your feedback. If there is anything else we can help you with please do not hesitate to contact us.
The service provided to my very elderly mother is exceptional. The carers (especially one in particular) go well beyond normal spec. She can be difficult but they always treat her with respect and kindness. The management team never fail to contact me if there is a problem of any sort and often contact the doctor if they feel it is necessary.
Thank you for your positive feedback. It is lovely to know that your mum has a good relationship with her regular care worker. As you know we are always here to support your mum and the family.
Since the end of December, her health has declined so now she has 24-hour live-in care which has been excellent.
This has required endless patience, kindness, good home-cooked food and real nursing care for a lady of 96 years old.
It is lovely to know that your stepmother-in-law is receiving the care she deserves.
I only have two things that could improve. Spotting things in the house that need fixing (leaks etc). Also, shopping lists given are excessive. For example, I am asked to buy sugar when there's a bag and a half in the cupboard and 2 surface cleaner sprays when there are 2 or 3 in the cupboard.
Apart from my suggestions, I am very happy with the care given and I think my Dad is too. When I'm there I feel that the carers actually care about him and they talk to him in a lovely manner.
We will look into this for you to make sure this does not happen. We are delighted to know your mum and dad are receiving the care they require.
The carers who have come to support me have exuded an air of professionalism. They have all demonstrated the willingness to take on all relevant tasks and carried them out well. I have always been treated with respect.
We are proud that the carers go above and beyond.
Nightingales provided a carer for me at home after I had an operation. I found the approach of the person doing the home visit the best of the three agencies I spoke with: professional, personable and friendly without being overly familiar and efficient. Each time I've spoken with the office the staff have responded swiftly and effectively, including being flexible about the fact that I needed less care than I had thought I might. I was sent the same carer for the 7 visits I needed, which was nice. She was excellent; intelligent, attentive, extremely hard-working, willing, kind and very personable - a warm person whom I'm sure will do well with whatever she does. Great memory for detail too, which I appreciated.
It was a pleasure to provide care for you and we are delighted you have made a recovery. It was lovely to hear your carer supported you in a way you required and glad to hear you built a relationship with her.
