Thank you for all your help.
Very happy with the service.
I would not know what I would do without them.
I have been with the service for over one year. I have have had good and bad carers, mostly very good but vary.
Generally, the care my mother receives is good. Every carer is different and each has their own little idiosyncrasies. Some are really good at taking Mum out in the wheelchair. Others are good at cooking, others at engaging her in activities. The one thing mum needs is someone she can understand. This can be a problem as some of the carers have a strong accent and mum struggles. When this is an issue Mum tends to close her eyes and zones out. Finding carers without a strong accent is difficult. However, my mum is well cared for.
We were very pleased with the service. All the help we were given was by charming and efficient ladies. We would certainly use your service again.
Over the past six months, I have received wonderful support from a brilliant team of dedicated carers. The management team at Nightingales put together a care package tailored specifically to my needs. I cannot fault them in any way.
I have had a hip replacement and was unable to look after myself so just had a friend that has this care and I am so pleased that I did. The carers were so helpful and very caring. I may have the other hip done so I would always go there for help.
Having used Nightingales for a number of years I would highly recommend them. They looked after my nan incredibly well and supported me in caring for her whilst at home. They were very responsive to feedback and her changing needs. For Nan, it enabled her to live independently for as long as possible. Nightingales' care was adapted as nan's dementia progressed and a number of carers were excellent in ensuring a person-centred approach was maintained.
Their online system allowed me to have regular updates but they were always only a phone call away. Overall all their staff, processes and communication and care were excellent
I have been very pleased with the care Nightingales HomeCare has given my mum who has Alzheimers. They have visited her twice daily to help with meals and medication. The carers are friendly, reliable and trustworthy. They have shown patience, kindness and understanding. They are careful to report all that happens during. Their visits and complete all tasks required of them. Their care has enabled my mum to live happily in her own home on her own for which we are very grateful.
We have been using Nightingales HomeCare for about 4 -5 months and I have been very happy with the service my mother received. She has rapidly declined and the carers were very patient and caring towards her - and nothing was too much trouble. Sometimes they would go above and beyond. I'd like to personally thank all the carers for such an excellent service.
The carers took good care of mum and always notified me if they had any concerns The app was very helpful as could see who had visited, the time and the feedback from the visit. Management always tried to accommodate requests for additional visits or changes when they arose.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, we hope mum settles within the home.
Several carers became regarded as family and friends.
The office staff were responsive and always polite, understanding and quick to action.
Thank you so much.
Thank you for your lovely feedback, please don't hesitate to keep in touch.
Very impressed by quality of support workers and the quality of service.
Thank you, Gerald, it's lovely to hear positive feedback about our Care Staff.
My father is in his 90's, and his primary carer is my mother who is in her mid-eighties. My father is pretty immobile and needs constant care, which takes its toll on my mother. I contacted Nightingales looking for live-in respite care for my father, so my mother could have a week away just to relax and recharge. The response from Nightingales was prompt and engaging, and the week was arranged at relatively short notice. I had some concerns about who they would send, as my father is not the easiest person to get on with and can be quite grumpy at the best of times. The carer arrived on the Saturday and I arranged for my grown-up kids to visit on the Sunday. The feedback from my daughters was that they were really impressed with the carer's patience and care, and despite my concerns, my father became quite fond of the carer during her stay, and they clearly built up a good relationship, which is no mean feat, so thank you.
I'm please we eased your fears and he was given the best care possible.
Following an accident in which my right writs was broken - and my nose - it was essential to have care, especially for showering, washing hair, making and changing the bed. The carer was gentle and considerate, giving kindness and thought to the very personal care that I needed; I am so grateful. I would not hesitate to use Nightingales again and would recommend them.
Nightingales helped me look after Mum for about 8 months. Carers hit the ground running and soon had Mum at her ease, were proactive and good at communication. All staff worked phenomenally hard to maintain a full service during the pandemic. Mum had a nasty accident overnight recently. It was a Nightingales carer who found her. She was calm and efficient in dealing with Mum, the ambulance staff and me in just the right way. Mum is now in a care home. She and I had excellent support from all at Nightingales.
Please don't hesitate to keep in touch.
Nightingales have been extremely supportive while Mum has needed care at home. The team have always been responsive and flexible as Mum's care needs changed. The carers have been reliable and professional.
Please don't hesitate to keep in touch.
The staff at Nightingales provided excellent care for my parents living at home who needed extra support to live as independently as possible. A carer visited twice a day and helped with any tasks needed to be done. All the staff who came were jolly and willing to take instructions as to what needed doing. A file was kept at the house so that we could see what care had been given. When necessary, the staff communicated with myself and my siblings with information about how my parents were doing, and if there was anything we needed to be aware of. The situation during lockdown made things difficult, but the staff were very professional, and we were very grateful for all their care and hard work they put in to make my parents feel safe and secure.
Nightingale Homecare have provided excellent care for my mother since March 2020, first helping with daily personal care and medication, then nursing her back to health at the care home after a hospital stay, and finally providing live-in care until her death. The carers have all been excellent and the management team is small and friendly. I recommend Nightingales very highly. My mother always felt safe and well cared for right up until her death.
