We have been using Nightingale Homecare service for the last 12 months to allow our Mother to continue to live in her own home despite advancing dementia. The service provided is flexible and easily adapted to meet the needs of the client. The post-visit feedback provided after every visit is extremely reassuring and allows any issues to be dealt with quickly. The front line care team are totally client-focused and provide an excellent service, which is backed up by a committed management team ensuring that an exemplary care service is provided. We would have no hesitation in recommending the Nightingale Homecare service to other potential clients or their relatives.

Overall this type of care is so important to us as a family and I feel confident that my dad is safe and well cared for.

The carer we had for a short time was invaluable. She was on the go through the night looking after my agitated husband through long twelve-hour shifts. She, efficiently, also made very detailed notes which were very helpful to the district nurses and ourselves. She was also a pleasure to have in the house, stepping back when she could see we needed time with him alone.

Very caring staff and only the care needed when you want it, which is very good. I can cancel because there is no contract which is a big plus and I am more inclined to call them again if needed. No criticism.

Nightingales have provided care at home for Mum for the past 18 months and have been very flexible in responding to her changing needs. Always very supportive with a genuine care for Mum's wellbeing at the core of their service.

My mother was in much need of care at short notice, and Nightingale pulled out all of the steps from the word go. There were difficult times with my mum, but the carers rallied and smoothed over those difficult times professionally.

Office staff always kept me informed, I found them all very approachable. Thanks to all of you for helping my mother over the last couple of years.

Carer always arrived on time and very friendly and chatty. Telephone calls to office with requested changes always dealt with professionally and to my satisfaction.

Has been a bit up and down to start with, not knowing who is coming and when but things are improving now. The supervisor is very reliable and efficient.

I have been using Nightingales Homecare for nearly 5 years and although several carers, all have shown care, compassion, and support. We have been through some emergencies, sometimes unpleasant, but they are always at the end of the phone and respond quickly. I have made some good friends. Keep up the good work.

On the whole, the carers are friendly and kind, fairly efficient and mostly nice and chatty and some I look forward to seeing. Travelling time needs to be allowed between clients for carers to be able to be on time. I find changes in carers and new staff difficult as they are not used to the house and routine. It makes me nervous about safe, experienced handling care, especially at bathtime.

Extremely willing to do what I need help with.

Cleaning is very good and the cooking is good. Talk and chat is also good.

Nightingales have been so supportive to me when I needed to have extra help to care for my mother. The carers are experienced, kind and friendly and are really lovely with my 93-year-old mum.

Nightingales were recommended to us after Mum broke her hip and became housebound. The whole team were supportive to us as a family as well as my Mum. I work full time and the Nightingales Team were my eyes and ears during the day. They would call doctors and health care professionals when necessary which gave me peace of mind. Mum looked forward to their visits. I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Each of the Nightingale Homecare (Bromley & Reigate) carers who come into see Mum were lovely. They were never in a rush, they spent quality time with mum and seemed to understand how to relate to her to make her feel loved, cared for and supported. They were very reliable, would tell us if they would be late and settled mum into a very good routine which ensured that her last few weeks were ones of happiness and contentment. We feel very indebted to the Nightingale team.

Overall a good experience. There were some initial difficulties in not being able to find our house but this settled now. We both felt that the number of different people especially during the day was more than we expected. Some of the staff my wife established a very happy rapport with and that was nice to see.
