I was always contacted if a carer had any concerns about my mother's welfare.
This service allowed my mother to continue to live at home longer and gave us the reassurance that someone was seeing her daily and that she was being fed. We valued the folder with the daily comments left by the various carers, as it meant that we were in touch with changes that might be happening. We have already recommended this service to friends and they too are impressed by the assurance it provides.
Up until the end of September 2018, my mother received excellent one-to-one care in our home. Nightingales stepped in to help with the care of her here in the mornings, to wash and dress her and see she had her breakfast. All the girls who came were smartly dressed in uniform, were always punctual and respectful. Their medical knowledge and caring attitude was much appreciated by myself and my mother. I can only say thank you.
My carer has always been professional, friendly and supportive. I don't have any other comments to submit.
Overall my mother received an excellent service from Nightingale Homecare (Bromley & Reigate). I liked the fact that my mum had a main carer for morning care and a main carer for evening care. This meant that a relationship built up over time and both these carers knew my mother very well and were able to spot when things were wrong (such as a urine infection). The carers were very kind, skilled, thoughtful and very supportive. They also would chat with me which was good for my wellbeing.
I have been extremely lucky to have had a very experienced carer call almost daily for the last four years. During this period, my health has seriously deteriorated as has my mobility, but she has supported and guided me through these problems using her expertise and wide knowledge of many methods of help! I have often asked her not to assist with tasks in the house and garden that I can no longer manage. She has been positive at all times and I shall miss her greatly when she moves shortly to a promotional position.
Very punctual attendance. Very willing, pleasant and friendly carers.
My father has Parkinsons and dementia. The carers at Nightingale were overall extremely considerate and respectful. They took the utmost care of his needs and kept me, as next of kin, informed of my father's requirements. I would highly recommend Nightingales and am so grateful for all that they have done for my father.
Our highest expectations were exceeded.
For many years she had the same carer who she struck up a great relationship with.
Lately, she has had a lovely caring carer.
Overall mum's care has been good.
Mum is looked after on a 24-hour basis at home. She is treated with respect and handled with care. She looks forward to staff visits and enjoys their company and that of her live-in Carer.
Competent, friendly helpers.
Excellent helpers. They are very kind and thoughtful.
Very happy with my service.
Staff always pleasant and polite. Will help in any way they can, especially last minute visits.
My 93-year-old father has been using Nightingales Homecare in Reigate for the past few months and it has improved his quality of life tremendously. He had been loathe to have home care as unfortunately my mother had a different company a few years ago and they proved to be irregular in their time keeping and always seemed to be too rushed to care. Nightingales’ carers are reliable, professional and extremely caring, often going beyond what is necessary to ensure that Dad is comfortable and happy. He used to say that he had little to get out of bed for but now he is so much more cheerful and looks forward to chatting away to his carers in the mornings. It has been lovely to see him more positive and happy, and it has also been a great relief to the family knowing that Dad has daily care from people that we can depend upon.
My 96-year-old mother-in-law was against having anyone to help her at home, but found all the staff she has met extremely kind and friendly, and is delighted with the weekly visits now. The managers have gone out of their way to accommodate her needs.
The carers were very competent, pleasant and on time. The company arranged the care very professionally and were completely responsive. Their record keeping, with respect to the time the carer was with my mother in law, was precise and completely accurate. We have no complaints and overall the service was excellent.
Excellent service, caring staff.
My father has received excellent care over a number of years, at home. Most of the carers have been responsive, caring and diligent. Those who have not met standards are replaced quickly. To put your trust in a complete stranger to look after your parent well is hard. I have been fortunate to have such dedicated help. My only negative is the communication from the office could be better.
