At all times I felt assured that my concerns were understood and well within the capabilities of the team. The carers themselves are lovely and what I particularly enjoy is hearing the giggles and banter they enjoy with my father.
If our needs change - Nightingales are happy to adapt swiftly.
It’s such a help and comfort to have this additional help. Thank you Nightingale’s.
Our aim is to make sure all clients have person-centred care and also support the family. We are pleased your dad is getting along with his regular carers.
I have been a client with Nightingales Bromley for ten years. The last few years have been good. I don't get a regular rota so don't always know who is coming in. I also feel the night carers do rush me getting to bed. I am 93 years old and have arthritis, heart problems and fused hips and am in a wheelchair all day, so by the time I get to bed am out of breath! The last six months have not been as good.
Hi Joan, sorry to receive this review. Upon discussion with your next of kin, they have confirmed yourself and them receive the weekly rota. Additionally, we have checked the call monitoring and can confirm the carers are staying for the full amount of time and your next of kin has confirmed they...
It was at this point that I came across Nightingales HomeCare and thank goodness I did.
Firstly, they were sympathetic and understanding about my situation and the implications of my situation.
Secondly, they were calm and efficiently helped me put a programme of care in place for my sister.
Most importantly, they provided some light at the end of the tunnel, that the situation was manageable and that I would be able to cope. Priceless.
Hi Vincent, we are glad we could have helped you. It has been a pleasure looking after your sister.
Happy with the service. Very efficient and always caring and providing feedback. Excellent in everything that has been provided. The care has been of excellent quality and service. The service was provided after hospitalisation. My mum feels very comfortable with the carer. Cannot fault the carer.
This is a lovely review Sandra, thank you for your kind worlds.
We have been using Nightingales HomeCare to provide 24-hour home care for my mother-in-law for some weeks now. The team exude help, friendliness and support and the carer provided has been absolutely excellent.
The credit goes wholeheartedly to the carers who complete a fantastic job day to day.
Very pleased with the service we receive, the carers are very pleasant and Mum always seems to appreciate the company and service that they provide. Can't honestly say that we could expect anything more and the office staff always keep us informed of any changes in good time so overall all good.
Thank you for your review and your kind words.
It is a pleasure delivering care for your mum.
Nightingales have met our requirements for providing on-site care for our mother in her home. They have been extremely understanding in our mother's needs and requirements and have provided an excellent service whilst having to deal with some difficult issues.
Thank you so much for your kind review.
It is pleasure looking after your mum.
The care my mother received from Nightingales has been excellent. The carers are always kind and compassionate. And because she had the same regular carers, they really got to know her and understand her personality and preferences. Thank you.
There was not a day when I had to help the provided carer. My husband suffers from dementia and only two carers knew how to handle this situation. Dementia sufferers like continuity and my husband did not receive this. I do realise there were staff shortages but this did not help my situation.
Thank you for your feedback, it's always imperative to enable us to improve and make adjustments when needed.
To ensure we run a smooth but safe service it's always important we facilitate two carers and involve other health professionals in enabling us to carry out our role, this is including...
All the carers were very caring, compassionate and patient with my mother and understanding of her dementia which meant she can be difficult at times. Very professional in their approach and I would recommend to others.
Mum, 92, needed to be taken to a hospital appointment for an eye operation by a Nightingales carer (25 July 2022) and then accompanied back to her home. I made the arrangements beforehand with Nightingales. They were excellent in the lead up, both on the office side so that we were all clear about what was going to happen timewise etc so that it ran smoothly, and the carer herself who spoke with me ahead of time to discuss. She arrived at Mum's promptly, looked after her well throughout, and when they got back she rang me. She was not only very caring but also friendly and easy to talk with so that she took much of the stress out. I am extremely pleased with the way the day went.
Nightingales have provided 5 carer visits a day to my 95-year-old mother for a couple of years. Their best feature has been reliability - whatever the weather. The staff have always done their best and been really honest. We would have happily continued to use them but Mother has now been admitted to a nursing home.
I have always found the office staff extremely helpful and always willing to go over and above to help in anyway they possibly can. They have made this whole journey run extremely smooth, and for that, I can’t thank them enough!
I am amazed at the care and dignity they show my sister and how nothing is too much trouble. In this day and age, my sister shows far more contentment since having Nightingale carers, as they manage to motivate her to try and do more.
I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.
Satisfied with service. Most helpful when a problem occurs.
Nightingales are organised and efficient with regard to management. Very flexible and accommodating with regard to last-minute changes in care requirements. Individual carers vary in terms of quality. Some are excellent - caring, hard-working and sensitive. Some less experienced carers require a little more guidance. Overall, I have been impressed with the quality of care provided by Nightingales.
My regular carer is fantastic and alwats very helpful. Things are sometimes erratic. Overall, I'm satisfied with the service.
It will be two years in August since I started receiving night care and two-day visits which all went well. Since November 2020, I have had a weekly visit which has been most helpful.
I have used Nightingales to provide personal care on an ad-hoc basis when my father requires personal care. This is for seasonal holidays when he comes to stay with me away from his usual home. Nightingales are reliable, consistent and professional. They have always tried to accommodate my requests. The carers have always been lovely. I would recommend using them.
Nightingales was an amazing company. The office team was quick at responding or answering calls with any problems or concerns we had. They would help or reassure us as a family. The carer my granddad had was friendly and took her time with him. Everything was done to his timing and his preference. My granddad was very happy and enjoyed seeing his carer during his visits. The carer was never late and always on time the office was helpful with adding extra calls when needed and would make sure everything was covered and new carers would know his routine.
