Thank you sincerely for the wonderful care and attention that you gave my father during the short time that he was with us at home in Burnham. The care and kindness that you gave to Dad was just so special. Thank you all for the fantastic work that you all do.

My mother is suffering from vascular dementia and is slowly becoming more inactive, we got to the point where her care was beyond our ability. At that point we contacted Nightingales. Their professional approach was outstanding. This was a great help to our family, knowing mum was getting a team of professional carers to look after her needs. We would like to say a big thank you to the carers and management for their help and support.

My Dad (with dementia) came out of hospital in July after being diagnosed with lymphoma. Dad was always a private man and never wanted any help with anything. We were very worried about how he would cope with carers but they were amazing with him. Dad was very lucky, as he had the same core carers most of the time and this definitely helped. Being set in his ways and being an elderly man, he didn’t always take to everyone, but he really took to all of the carers. I could tell he really thought very highly of them all. He trusted them and would welcome them into his home. On occasion, I would be at Dad’s house when the carers arrived and would be able to hear the carers at the door. It was always heartwarming to hear how they greeted Dad and I know that it wasn’t just for show. They would always find time to chat and joke with Dad whilst doing their chores and were always extremely helpful, caring and gave him dignity. I feel sad that I won't be seeing these ladies any more.

They all combined an extremely high level of professionalism with very personal compassion, interest and great care. Medication was carefully monitored and all the carers inspired confidence, reassurance and security. They all had the great ability to establish a friendly relationship in a very short space of time and my father always looked forward to their visits. Nothing was too much trouble. They had time to talk, ask questions and take an interest and they helped to make a very difficult and stressful period more bearable. I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone requiring the care that the agency offers.

Nightingales provided care for my elderly Dad during the last five months of his life. They treated him with dignity, compassion and humour and provided an extremely high standard of care, for which we're incredibly grateful. Having a small group of very skilled carers, rather than a succession of new faces meant that they quickly understood Dad's needs and they were diligent in spotting any problems or changes in his condition. Dad required two carers, three times a day for much of the time Nightingales was involved and they somehow managed to coordinate the visits so that they came at roughly the same times each day, at a time that worked well for him and his routine. The whole family looked forward to their visits and now that my Dad has sadly passed away, we really miss seeing them each day.

I cannot thank the manager and her wonderful staff enough for providing my dad with the best nursing care that I could ever imagine. What you offer to your patients goes beyond basic care. The compassion with which you had nursed my dad is commendable. The manager always managed to get a smile from my dad. Your care is the motherly touch that turns sympathy into comfort. Your devotion to caring for my dad will never be forgotten.

Thank you so much for the palliative care you gave to my mother for the last 4 weeks of her life, it made her feel very humble that your dedication and care was so personal and professional on every level. She loved looking forward to your visits, my whole family would like to thank you all.

Nightingales have been caring for my husband for just over a year and the girls and management care for my husband with complete care and dignity, we don't class them as carers but friends of our family with polite happy attitudes to their clients and make a bad day for him better.

My best friend of almost 40 years sadly became terminally ill, required 3 x daily visits and Nightingales agreed to take her into their care and what a care that was. I would drive from Hertfordshire every weekend and over a period of 9 months grew to know them and love them as my friend did. What they did for her was outstanding. It wasn't a case of in and out in the least possible time, the took time to help her, try and lift her from the depression that her illness made her sink, they really were 'Florence Nightingales'. They breezed in with humour and empathy when needed. Nothing was too much trouble. They dealt with her day-to-day care with compassion and dignity and I will always be truly thankful to them for caring for her with kindness and tenderness for those 9 months. A massive, massive thanks to the manager and her superb family - cheers.

Nightingales Services Ltd cares for my husband, they come in 3 times a day every day and provide a sitting service so I can have some time out. All the staff are fantastic with not only my husband but the family as well, I really can't praise them enough. I would recommend them to anyone and everyone xx

The service provided by Nightingales has been excellent from day one. They go above and beyond in their duties of caring for my wife. Nothing is too much trouble. They are always prompt and cheery in their work. I would highly recommend Nightingales to anyone.

Nightingales care were absolutely excellent during the time they cared for my daughter before she was admitted to the hospice. They showed complete care and compassion throughout. Although they visited three times a day, they were always on hand to help if I needed it. They went over and above what was expected. I can't thank them enough for the care they gave my daughter and all the time respecting her dignity. They were also there to support me. I would have no hesitation in recommending this team of carers.

Staff showed great care when dealing with my wife. They were always helpful when I needed help getting prescriptions from the doctors etc. The carers were always cheerful in their approach to the job in hand.

The quality of care provided by the Nightingales Agency for our late mother was of the highest standard. At all times her needs were foremost in their care. Our mother was always treated with dignity, respect and affection. Their care also extended to us, the close family members, ensuring that we had 'time out' for ourselves and to be able to talk over our personal concerns and how to handle the imminent death of our mother. As a family, we would like to say 'Thank you' to all the Nightingales Agency who provided care from the start 2 years ago, until our mother's death of the 9th July 2016.

I would like to say a massive thank you for everything you did for my mother in law, for being so kind, caring and understanding and always treating her with dignity, you only looked after her for one week, but in that short time she really looked forward to your visits, having a chat and making her laugh. She has now moved into a care home, but I will always be grateful to your lovely carer's thank you.

I cannot fault their care and respect for my husband, who enjoys their company and help too.

Nightingales have provided care for my mother for over 8 years. We could not have wished for a kinder and more caring and compassionate service. They treat my mother and me like a member of their extended family and our relationship is based on respect and friendship. They never rush off and often spend their own time with my mother - even though she is unable to converse or respond. They have helped me through all the hurdles of caring for a member of the family and have given guidance, support and advice throughout the years, particularly as my mother's illness has progressed. My mother would not be around today were it not for them. They are, quite simply, 'lovely'.

I recommend this agency for the outstanding passion and care given to my friend in her time of need. ALL the staff have always given 110% on every visit right up to the end, even offering overnight support. My friend had other agencies in the past but this company supersedes all and are second to none. Other agencies could learn a lot from them.
