St. George’s Home Care is a private homecare company that was set up over 20 years ago and cares for people in their own homes throughout the New Forest.

The team of trained and experienced staff care for older people as well as those who are physically disabled.

They ensure that the people they care for live in a clean, comfortable and safe environment and dignity, respect and sensitivity are at the heart of care.

St George's Home Care offers personal care such as bathing, showering, toileting and dressing as well as meal preparation, cleaning and laundry, shopping, administering medicine, night care, companionship, respite and live-in.

Everyone has a care package that is tailored to their individual needs and these care plans are reviewed regularly. They are also offered priority admission at their nursing home should they require residential care or respite accommodation.

St George's Home Care has been very diligent and caring when dealing with my mother. If needs be, they call me whilst visiting to inform me of things which need action - low medicines or power cuts. During the recent storms, one even nipped back home to fill flasks with hot water so that Mum could have
a hot drink. The staff visit regularly, but also different ones have a day so that chat and faces vary. The regular ones are used to the client's ways and manage to sneak in all she needs when all she wants to do is chat. I'm too far away to be able to just pop round and sort things, but I have peace of mind knowing that St George's are going in daily.

The helpers are cheerful when doing their work. They are amiable and friendly. They are very helpful when they take me out and show a great deal of care and consideration. Where possible, it would be appreciated if items moved when cleaning was put back in their original position as my failing eyesight
makes it difficult to find things if they are not in their usual place.

St George's have been supplying care for my mum for around a year... three times a week. The care/support my mum receives has always been excellent. Recently, I had an emergency, which meant I needed immediate daily care/support for my mum. Within one or two emails, it was sorted and in place. I can't
fault St George's for the speed they responded to make sure Mum had the support she needed.

St George's have been looking after my step-mum for 6 years. Originally carer's popped in once a day, then when the need arose, that was increased to 2, then 3, then 4. Finally, she needed full time care, which meant going into a Care Home or having a full time carer move in with her. The latter was
chosen as the way forward. In the 6 years that St George's have helped look after my step mum, nothing was too much trouble and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone looking for Care and Assistance with a loved one. The staff are very kind, warm and friendly and the service they gave us was superb. Very happy client.

I have known this provider for a while as they also provided care for my late mother. They always treat the client very kindly, with respect and take time to converse with them and never hurry them. They are punctual and do their best to give a good level of care.

St George's Home Care is a truly wonderful organisation. Every carer is totally professional and truly care for their clients. My mother was so lucky to have St George's Home Care to look after her and enjoyed their visits, so did I! I shall miss them! My mother, sadly, has moved into residential care.

St George's provide a great service. They are very flexible and are always able to send someone for care visits if the scheduled person is not available for any reason. I would recommend them to others needing home care visits.

St George's Home Care team has been very helpful in modifying and altering their support sessions as needed. Staff are always chatty, polite and make Mum feel at ease. It is easy to reach the manager by phone or email, and any concerns regarding Mum are always fed back to me. This support is invaluable,
particularly as I do not live locally. I would not hesitate in recommending their service to others.

We have been really impressed by St George's. From the very beginning, we were treated with compassion and professionalism. At a time when our family was very anxious about Mum, St George's stepped in and were amazing, providing us with carers who really seemed to care. In a world where profit often
seems to be the driving force in any situation, St George's have been a breath of fresh air.
I'm also impressed with how easy it is to communicate with St George's. I can call or email the office with instructions, and they seem to appear on the carer's phone almost immediately. Our primary carer has been a total star. Mum and her giggle like two little school girls and she seems to have the magic touch and can get Mum to eat her food, do her exercises and behave! She's got the hang of the house and my mum's preferences quickly and now just gets on with supporting our mum. My mum says she has been a lifesaver. Overall, the carers we've had have been fantastic, and my mum continues to recover well thanks to the care she's received.

I often meet St Georges carers when visiting my brother and have always found them generally friendly, helpful and caring despite the difficulties that are sometimes presented. My brother looks forward to their visits. On many occasions, staff have reported health problems (mainly to do with catheter
problems), as a result of which Community nurses or a local doctor have been called and managed the condition. As next of kin it is easy to communicate with the managers, who have kept me informed of developments.

My sister has been with St George’s Home Care Agency, Milford On Sea for some years now.
The service provided is excellent, nothing too much trouble of my family requests. Home care staff go above and beyond their normal hours, set hours, ie. after a few falls and attending hospitals, a carer will
be at her home to settle her in with a welcoming cup of tea.
They make sure she is eating and drinking water and care is taken to ensure her early morning washing and dressing is up to scratch. Above all my sister is happy to have them in her home.

Really good care given. Cheerful and efficient. All the carers do care and work while here. Beds made, washing hung out and put away. One of the ladies gave assistance when I cooked mousaka.
