The Caring Company

We first started using The Caring Company in Didcot after Mum needed help with Dad, about 8 years ago. As many people do, Mum trawled through many companies' reviews to find the best. I am so happy to leave this review, as we still continue to use them for Mum now following the passing of Dad. The most comforting thing for me (Daughter) is the reliability of this company and their carers. They cover shifts in advance, and last minute, and I have complete peace of mind, knowing they will be there. Their carers are friendly, caring, efficient, and nothing is too much trouble. Records are updated regularly, and communication with me is super efficient. I never need to worry now. Highly recommended for anyone looking for care for elderly parents.

The Caring Company staff have basically saved my sanity. Always professional and helpful, they helped care for both my parents with dementia and other illnesses until Dad died and then continued to provide support and care for Mum. Our most regular carers have almost become part of the family and have shown a mix of professional standards, practicality, good humour and compassion that has helped in a very difficult situation.

I cannot speak highly enough of the care given to me during this last year. The care I've had is flexible and how I need it - which can vary considerably. It is always met with understanding and cheerfulness - and above all professional skill. I am fortunate that I am able (at the moment) to live an independent life - but it is a reassurance to know that I can call on The Caring Company, an agency I can trust.

I am very pleased with The Caring Company. I am very happy with them. They are always on time morning and night and if they have a problem they phone me straight away and the staff are always very pleasant and helpful if I need to alter my time. Perfect.

We have been using The Caring Company since 2021 when my partner became immobile and I was unable to care for him. The staff are always pleasant and give my partner dignity while performing personal care. In May this year, I became ill and my partner was moved to our local care home. I still have them come to me to help with heavy-duty cleaning, and one member of staff takes my partner out one hour a week. I have no problems with The Caring Company.

Mum has been receiving care from this company for many years now. I am a registered nurse so have very high standards. I cannot fault the care given to my Mum. She is cared for as an individual and all the carers show her respect as well as genuine dignified care. All of her carers have got to know her very well and I feel totally reassured that they will inform me if they have any concerns. They are all very patient and kind. I continuously see evidence that Mum is receiving excellent holistic care. The management team are very knowledgeable and know all of their patients and their families. I know we are very lucky to have such a professional caring company available to give the care my Mum deserves.

Good efficient service on a consistent basis. Carers look after my mum really well. It is a very personal service. Carers are friendly and treat my mum as a human being. They are very adaptable and have found practical solutions to my mum's needs which have enabled her to remain at home, which is what she wants.

I can't say better than that. I have full faith in their care and have had a few laughs along the way with them.

The Caring Company have been providing care visits to Mum for a year now. Mum has no memory, but since the visits started, she has been much happier in the morning. Without the visits, Mum would sit all day in her pyjamas and lack any motivation.

Friendly, efficient and understanding. The booking of the care is easy. The carers are all totally sympathetic. The whole experience has been caring. We'd had good conversations and some laughs.

Friendly, supportive, considerate staff. Once carer who visits most frequently goes above and beyond. We're so grateful that Mum has a level of support and safety she needs. No complaints.

The Caring Company has been doing my dad's housework for a while but recently had to get another carer in to just monitor his meds and moods. The manager is always at the end of the phone if any extras need to be done. The two carers Dad has are lovely.

Excellent service - friendly, caring and competent carers who are always prepared to go the extra mile. Office staff do their utmost to accommodate changes to the regular schedule. I definitely recommend them.

Good communication with office staff.

Carers are respectful and reliable arrive on time and keep me well informed of any problems. My father looks forward to them coming and always says he is treated with kindness and they are always friendly.

Nearly everything goes smoothly the only problem being that I sometimes do not make clear what needs to be done. When that problem is resolved all goes well with my willing carers.

When I found it increasingly difficult to care for my wife who has Alzheimer's The Caring Company was recommended by a friend. Since we have contacted them we have received excellent care from them. My wife who can be difficult when new people come into our house is extremely happy with her regular carer and has come to regard her as a friend. Care is well organised and arrives on time and is provided with care and attention to both of us.

In the three years plus of using the company to look after my dad and mum (the last two and a half years just my mum). The management and carers have been brilliant, nothing has been too much trouble, changing times of visits etc. The carers had become like family to my mum, brightening up her day, they were so lovely to her. I want to thank fur carers for organising all the help for my mum. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. My mum recently had to move into a care home because of her increased needs but all the while at home the caring company made her life as best it could be.

The service from The Caring Company is superb.
