The Caring Company provides a home care service that supports people living in the Didcot area of Oxfordshire, promoting independence and to assisting them to remain living in their own homes.

They offer a range of flexible services that can be personalised to each client's needs, either on a long or short-term basis.

The Company recognises that often care needs are identified by relatives, so works with everyone involved to ensure an acceptable care plan is established and successfully implemented, ensuring the individual's needs are recognised and allowing for a safe level of independence as required.

Care workers are encouraged to engage with clients to ensure the care is appropriate to each client's changing personal needs, therefore supporting clients and their families.

I cannot find any fault. They turn up on time. They are always bright and friendly, just what every person needs first thing in the morning. They never talk about other clients and they are all super. Well done Caring Company.

The carers are very good. They seem to be very aware of Mum's needs, and the company are friendly, polite and good communicators. Mum loves the carers' visits. If I need questions answered or changes to Mum's care, then the staff are happy to accommodate.

During the past year, my stepmother's needs have changed considerably; at first, she needed only a few visits a week, then once a day, two a day and now four a day. The Caring Company has always responded quickly to new circumstances and their communication with me has been professional, timely, honest
and straightforward. The carers have to prompt my stepmother repeatedly in all aspects of food, drink, taking medication, cleanliness and everyday living because she has dementia. They seem patient, kind, articulate and able.

My aunt was looked after by The Caring Company for two to three years. They were very caring to her and she looked forward to them coming three times a day. They encouraged her to keep clean and tidy and also encouraged her to eat her meals, which were important to us. The family found the girls very
good and they became our friends. They kept us informed about her well-being. They helped me with any worries I may have had. I found all the girls very reliable.

Always found that the carers were polite, helpful and kind. Assisted me to care for my husband as best as they could, listened to my concerns and helped support me.
On time, but if running late due to other work, always apologised.

The Caring Company were wonderful with my mum. The care and respect shown to her was marvellous. The amount of work the individual carers did during their 45 minutes was incredible. The difference this made to the family was immeasurable. What a fantastic team, thank you for everything.

We used The Caring Company to help with our dad who was frail, and unable to walk unaided. They came to his house, and were very thorough to obtain a full medical history, and ascertain what care was needed.


My dad`s carer was superb, always polite, well turned out and very helpful and co-operative

with my dad`s requests. We used them for about 3 months before he requested a full-time care home option.


The Caring Company were always efficient, and each time we had to cancel, the process was a simple email.


Highly recommend for anyone wishing to remain at home, but need assistance to do that.

My friend was a very independent lady who liked things done in a certain way and this sometimes caused problems and/or personality clashes but these were usually easily sorted.
The main problem was with the timing of visits with carers coming earlier or later than expected with little or no warning.
On
the whole, the care and treatment given to my friend was generally good and was a great help and support in her last few years.

An excellent team of carers who are kind and very caring, making her very comfortable in her own home, where she wants to stay. The care offered was excellent, treating him with respect and dignity while providing the support he needed. The staff ensured that his medication was taken as prescribed. He was able to ask for their assistance when required. The Caring Company responded to calls outside of the norm as quickly as they
were able. The treatment he received was sympathetic and supportive in the circumstances. The carers were willing to take on tasks and communicated with him well. The company were easily accessible by both phone and email, and replies to queries etc were received promptly. I would be happy to recommend their services for the future.

The Caring Company have cared for my husband for about three years.


The management and office staff are efficient. professional and helpful.
Rotas and other correspondence are sent by email.


The carers are well trained, kind, friendly, cheerful, helpful and flexible when necessary.

My main carer comes 3 times a week for 1 hour each time. A year ago, when she started coming, I was very depressed and lonely and just wanted to join my recently deceased husband. Through an accident, I had lost my senses of taste and smell and was not bothering to eat sensibly. My wonderful carer seemed
to understand me. She never 'mothers' me, instead, she makes fabulous sandwiches, salads and main meals. They always look enticing and, as a result, I eat every last piece of them.


This amazing woman researches Alzheimer's and then we buy the foods and herbs that I need. As she prepares the meals we have stimulating conversation and laughs, which always lift my depression. When I am unwell she quietly and efficiently restores me and my bed to cleanliness. I thank God daily for my dear carer.

I used The Caring Company for a sitting service for my husband. When I left him in their care I always felt comfortable with their ability to cope. I felt trust to leave them in my home and treat it with respect. I was especially pleased the girls removed their shoes in the house.
