The Caring Company have cared for my husband for about three years.
Rotas and other correspondence are sent by email.
The carers are well trained, kind, friendly, cheerful, helpful and flexible when necessary.
Generally, a first-rate company that I would have no hesitation in recommending.
My main carer comes 3 times a week for 1 hour each time. A year ago, when she started coming, I was very depressed and lonely and just wanted to join my recently deceased husband. Through an accident, I had lost my senses of taste and smell and was not bothering to eat sensibly. My wonderful carer seemed to understand me. She never 'mothers' me, instead, she makes fabulous sandwiches, salads and main meals. They always look enticing and, as a result, I eat every last piece of them.
This amazing woman researches Alzheimer's and then we buy the foods and herbs that I need. As she prepares the meals we have stimulating conversation and laughs, which always lift my depression. When I am unwell she quietly and efficiently restores me and my bed to cleanliness. I thank God daily for my dear carer.
I used The Caring Company for a sitting service for my husband. When I left him in their care I always felt comfortable with their ability to cope. I felt trust to leave them in my home and treat it with respect. I was especially pleased the girls removed their shoes in the house.
The Caring Company were superb from day one. Throughout the 2 and a half years they attended my father (1500 + visits) there were only small problems and both were quickly dealt with.
The regular carers were always highly professional and proficient - but they were also warm and compassionate, always treated my father with kindness, dignity and genuine interest. Nothing was ever too much trouble and his most regular young carer built up a wonderful rapport with him...like a valued member of the family. The Caring Company is also very well managed and from the initial assessment onwards, they did everything well. I cannot recommend them more highly.
Totally adaptable, precise timing and also delightful company!
We have had excellent service from our chosen service provider. They were efficient, professional and caring. When changes had to be made we were always kept informed.
I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone needing a high level of personal care. Well done!
When we needed care to bring home mum from the hospital, The Caring Company had no hesitation in taking mum onto their books, knowing mum was terminally ill.
The care mum received was excellent, the carers were so compassionate, efficient and caring. I would have no problem with recommending you.
The Caring Company responded to my request for help very rapidly. The initial interviews to find out my needs and those of my mother was sensitive and very professional and empathetic. They sent one of their care workers to sit with my mum for 3 hours a day for the last 3 weeks of Mum's life so that I and the carer could have a brief moment of very welcome respite each day and mum could have a change of face and company. The key worker who came was a sheer delight, a charming person who was very well trained and qualified. Mum loved her and they had super chats. I learnt a lot from her myself. I will always be grateful to her for bringing joy to Mum's last days. Thank you.
A very caring, helpful company, giving help to my husband and myself. Great care was given regarding dignity and support.
From my initial phone call, over a year ago, to now I can't fault the company.
From those who man the phones through to those who visit to assess the situation and on to the actual carers who come to the house, well I couldn't hope for better and more understanding care. It really is a two-way relationship, in fact, three-way really you, my parents and me. You know who you are and your understanding, professionalism and support is deeply appreciated.
I have nothing negative to say, no points for you to improve, you are the company I would happily recommend to anyone.
Thank you.
The Caring Company have always provided an excellent service to my mother and very good advice to me which enables me to support her better myself. There is an excellent manager, extremely approachable and knowledgeable.
All staff were professional in their approach, patient and compassionate. Always answered the phone promptly and gave good advice.
The Caring Company made the last ten months of my dad's life easier. The staff were always very professional and cheerful and always treated my dad with dignity. My mum was reluctant to have any help but The Caring Company has also helped mum to see it was okay to accept help.
The Caring Company stepped in and supplied two friendly carers each day for two weeks.
I particularly liked that I knew who to expect, and when to expect them each day.
Excellent service, cheerfully given.
The staff have gone above and beyond to help me have the best quality of life I can. I am treated with dignity.
The care provided to my mother of over 4 years was of very high quality. It went beyond addressing her physical needs and covered recommendations and advice to deal appropriately with her as she became increasingly frail. The staff dealt with her with kindness and respect and I know she enjoyed their visits. It was through the care provided by the company that she was able to continue to live in her own home up to her death. In the last months, several staff members stayed on longer than their shift to provide her with additional care, and on two occasions actually visited outside their working hours to see how she was and if we needed help. I have already recommended the Caring Company to another potential user and will continue to do so. We were very fortunate to be able to find and use this company.
My wife who is also my carer had a major operation and as a result, could not give me the personal care I needed. My support team engaged the care company to come in daily to take care of my personal needs. I found the caring company staff to be very good. A happy and engaging lot. They provided me with a great service and did all requests from me quickly and efficiently. Overall this is a great company with great, kindly and experienced staff.
The Caring Company supported my father for several years; at first, helping him to wash and dress plus a lunch call. As his dementia progressed and he became doubly incontinent, more calls were added at teatime and bedtime. I appreciated the professionalism of the company, and records were carefully kept. Several carers knew my father really well and although his behaviour was not always easy, managed to shower him regularly and to encourage him to eat and drink. Unfortunately, his dementia deteriorated quite considerably in the last few months, which meant it was difficult for The Caring Company to continue supporting him and he is now in a nursing home with special facilities for dementia patients. I and my family will always be grateful to The Caring Company for making it possible for my father to enjoy staying in his own home for a long time. Most of the carers had genuine affection for my father and added a great deal of happiness to his life. A sincere thank you!
They have always been accommodating to my mother's needs. They have realised that she enjoys seeing the same carers and does not like changes. When we as a family change mums routine and need to change our days with The Caring Company they pull out all stops to keep with the same carers. The carers working for the organisation are very professional, show care and understanding and are always punctual. My mother is 90 and has a short term memory problem. They treat her with dignity and never rush her or take over.
Mum started with The Caring Company in April 2015. Initially it was 4 visits per day. The staff were fantastic and there was always someone at the end of the phone in the office if we had any queries. The last week of her life (she died at home) she had double handed care. This was exemplary from all the carers and the compassion shown to mum was exemplary. I would thoroughly recommend this company.

Having worked for around 20 years in various residential settings. Was then introduced to homecare with The Leonard Cheshire group, working with people with physical disabilities in Oxford City and the surrounding area, till changes in the care sector resulted in our team being transferred to another provider.
Approaching retirement age, I planned to set up a small business to support myself and a friend for a few years. 18 years later, the company has supported many lovely people and is still lucky to have some of the original wonderful staff.
