This is just to say thank you for everything you do.
Mum really looks forward to Dawn and Cathy's visits.
They do all the hard work and, just as important, have become real friends.
The rest of the team do an amazing job of keeping everything on track, adjusting to changing needs and keeping admin simple.
Without Home Instead, we would be struggling. With Home Instead, life looks good!
Thank you, Michael
Thank you so much for taking the time to share such a wonderful review. It truly means a great deal to all of us to know that your mum looks forward to the Care Professionals' visits - building genuine friendships alongside providing excellent care is exactly what we strive for.
I will be sure...
I was concerned that my mum would not let carers into her long-standing home, but they won her over, treating her with dignity, respect & as an equal. They quickly established how to gain her trust, and my mum continues to enjoy their company and friendship as they administer her medication and cook her lunch.
Thank you so much for your wonderful review. We are pleased to hear that your mum has built those wonderful relationships with the team.
Home Instead have been caring for my parents for over two years. They have enabled my parents to stay at home with three visits daily. The carers are excellent and very patient, and help with medication, meals, washing etc. Recently when my mother was very ill, they worked hard to ensure that we had temporary night-time cover too, at very short notice.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this lovely review. It means a great deal to our whole team. We feel privileged to have supported your parents over the past two years, and we're so glad our visits have helped them remain comfortably at home.
Home Instead have been excellent throughout. Staff are compassionate and caring, very well trained, and so patient, content. Very good communication from the office, and sharing updates regarding changing care needs. Good supervision noted, excellent, timely record keeping, which is fully accessible to us.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We're delighted to hear that you've had such a positive experience with our team.
I would highly recommend the carers from Home Instead, they have been excellent with my mother in law. She was initially reluctant to accept any help from anyone, but the care team have worked hard to gain her trust and build good relationships. My mother in law has a diagnosis of Alzheimer's and support is needed with taking her medication and meals, she also needs assistance with shopping and being accompanied on short walks. The support Home Instead have provided has enabled her to remain living at home and given her much needed companionship. The App is excellent at letting us know how each visit has gone. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We will pass your comment back to the team. Thank you.
Special thanks also to Sam, who was with my Dad on his last morning at home, and was a great support to me when I arrived to face a difficult situation.
I would not hesitate to recommend Home Instead in Ipswich.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We are pleased to have supported you and your family to keep Dad at home for longer.
I cannot fault the care given to my Mother and am very grateful for all that the care professionals and other members of the Home Instead team did. Staff were always patient, caring and attentive to Mum's needs. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. Similarly 'back room' staff were always polite and helpful when ever I had cause to contact the office.
Thank you so much for your very kind words. We are pleased to hear both you and your mother have felt supported. We will pass your comments on to the team. Thank you.
I was hoping for carers who had more experience with late-stage Alzheimers. The process of getting a third carer to cover the live-in carers' sickness or holidays has not been good. A supply carer was sent who was not well. I needed extra help in getting the care plan updated. I acknowledge that time was limited but any suggestion to help, for example, postponing a meeting were not accepted. The work was done but I was left in no doubt it had caused inconvenience. A visit from a trainer where there are obvious discrepancies have not shown any improvement.
Thank you for your review, our team has already reached out to you. We are committed to delivering the highest quality care. Our Care Professionals complete City & Guilds-assured Dementia Training, however we recognise that everyone has their own Dementia Journey which is why our office team...
As a new user of Home Instead care professionals, I am pleased with the help and support I have received. Their friendliness makes each visit something to look forward to.
Thank you for your lovely words. We will pass these back to your team. We are pleased you are feeling supported on your new journey with us.
I would highly recommend Home Instead they were excellent with my mum. Mum needed support with her personal care and companionship. Although it was for a short time because mum has now gone into a care home the whole company were amazing. Everyone I spoke to was helpful, kind and supportive. The App was excellent at letting us know how mums visit had gone. A special mention to one member of staff who mum really became attached to, as they sang and danced together bringing her such joy. Thank you to the whole team.
We're so pleased to have supported you and mum in your time of need. Thank you so much for your kind words.
I live and work in London and was experiencing considerable stress trying to manage my mum's care. Fortunately, I found Home Instead following a recommendation from my mum's clinic in Felixstowe. The management team and care givers are exceptional, well organised and very supportive. Before the start of the contractual agreement, a senior manager and the proposed caregiving team spent an afternoon with Mum so that she could get to know them and feel comfortable which was extremely reassuring and a great experience for Mum and I. The team update me on any care issues and the App allows me to view details of each visit. But most of all my mum is happy and enjoys great companionship and care. This matters so much as she was married for 56 years and struggled after we lost Dad. Even Mum's neighbours are impressed and have met the care team. All of this means I can better manage my working life without added stress and worry. I highly recommend Home Instead. Thank you.
Thank you for this heartwarming review. We are very pleased to read that you and Mum have felt greatly supported by our team.
Carers listen to my mother-in-law and respect her wishes, always happy to take her shopping or out on other trips.
The app is so nice as it's so important to know how my mother-in-law has responded to each visit.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are very pleased to support your family.
I think we received excellent value for money for Mum's care, and we would recommend Home Instead to others in the area without hesitation.
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We are so pleased that you have felt supported every step of the way and that your mum felt reassured and independent in her own home.
I have found the company efficient, helpful and friendly both at management and carer levels.
Thank you so much for your kind words. It is an absolute pleasure for our team to support you.
All the staff obviously care and have experience with people with dementia. The management have been responsive too and were able to set up the service quickly in a, for us, urgent situation. There have been some small niggles like where the invoice gets posted to, but these have been dealt with quickly.
Thank you so much for this lovely review. We are pleased that Dad is enjoying his visits and that you have been well-supported with your queries.
Very thorough, proffessional and appropriate. Listened well. Open to ideas and suggestions, supportive, and knowledgeable. Easy to talk to.
Thank you for your lovely review. We are very pleased that you have had such a positive experience.
The office staff are always helpful and very good at keeping us updated with any changes to her visits and accommodating to her preferences.
We cannot fault the care that is shown to our loved one. The daily visits are the highlight of her day. Due to dementia our aunt often needs reassurance about everyday things and the carers are totally understanding of her needs. Also, the office team are always on hand to discuss or advise on queries we might have.
Thank you for this lovely review. We are so pleased that our team has made a difference and that your aunt is enjoying her visits.
The team of ladies who provide this weekly care has been well-matched to suit my mother’s personality and she has nothing but praise for their kindness and willingness to help her in any way they can and she looks forward to their visits and their companionship.
My brother and I are extremely glad that we engaged Home Instead to provide care for my mother which was initially for companionship for a lonely lady a couple of times a week but with time has resulted in the necessity for twice daily visits to prepare hot meals and drinks, go shopping and pick up prescriptions.
I would highly recommend Home Instead as a care provider. They are absolutely brilliant!
Thank you so much for this wonderful review. We are thrilled your mother felt well-matched with her team and that she enjoys their visits. We really appreciate your recommendation, thank you.
Home Instead were wonderful in providing daytime cover for my husband with severe semantic dementia while my regular private carer was on holiday. The carers were well-trained and supported. I appreciated their policy of having a new carer shadow an existing carer for part of the day to learn about my husband's needs and foibles before they came to do a care session on their own. There were minor issues with one carer but I felt these have been taken on board after my feedback. I will certainly turn to Homestead again in any future time of need.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We are so glad you felt well supported and your issue was promptly resolved.
